guys...bought desire x recently !
while using HDR..my flash ws on..i captured a pic without using flash....after capturing pic 'processing' sign comes asusual....but in between that processing sign....once flash also blinks.....!
happens every time i capture pic by HDR !
is thr ny prob. with the camera ?

I have been using HTC Desire X for last 8 months and I am pretty impressive with this Mindranger. Yesterday I have updated the OS to Android 4.1.1 (JB). The Update comes alongside with HTC Sense 4+. (The update size including both is 282 MB). Thanks to HTC for keeping the promise.
The Update is running silky smooth, have No lags or any problems of such kind. In fact it is smoother than before. The new Keyboard on Sense 4+ is awesome is a pleasure to use. As always, HTC sense on the whole keep bettering and is the best available ever on any android UI.
Update will pop up when you do
Settings-> About Phone -> Software Updates -> Check Now
You will need to do a factory rest on the phone after the update to make it extremely smooth. To do this, press and hold volume down and power together until the phone display blacks out. Once you release the buttons after black out, you will be taken to a menu where you can navigate to 'Factory Reset ' option using volume down key. Once this option is selected, hit power button once to initiate factory rest. Wait until the phone shows up the lock screen.
Note: You will lose your applications and phone contacts during factory reset. So make sre you take the back up and restore it after the reset. However my your photos and videos on SD card were unaffected.

I have updated my phone to jelly bean, can you tell me how to do factory reset? It looks like transparency of notification bar has gone it just hold the image of wallpaper..

Its hot alrite I blagged it fom a phone cmpy willy nilly on a borin wednesday just so me an a pal can have a good old jolly up in skeggy on it!

I recently upgraded my desire x to jelly bean 4.1.1.when my upgradation is complete then the battery is 70%.I then shut down it and on the switch after 8 hours.then the mobile is hot and battery is 42%.why this problem occurred.??? Please help.

@ardanieljam, 12 Jun 2013I got the update and it ruined everything! !!!!! Some apps ... moredude you need to do a factory reset on your phone. almost all users have given good reviews of jellybean including me. all apps and games still work.

I got the update and it ruined everything! !!!!! Some apps now are not loading have a lot of issues have to double tap gallery to enter!!! Have to change to Samsung.. .

amo, 10 Jun 2013when I check for update, it still shows update 1.18.720.1 (... moreJust download it and let it finish update. After that check manually for updates. This time you will be offered with huge upgrade to 4.1.1 (~280MB), so ensure you are on wi-fi. Looks like these two updates are incremental.

its now got and official upgrade to sense 4+ and jelleybean 4.1.1... wuhuuu!!
