got this set 1 week before for INR 14400....although I was bit confused between LG l9 and desire x ..finally got this one and I'm very very happy with performane of this phone.....amazing display, beats audio and smooth and nice looking UI...JB update also on the way already launched in Europe....

Having had a look around, it's difficult to overlook the fact that there are a fair few people having problems with this model so there should be alarm bells ringing by now. Regretfully I got mine with a Vodafone contract at the same time this model was released. Good on you for doing your homework (something I will be sure to do in future) and best of luck with your purchase. For my money, I'd go for something comparable - a Samsung, perhaps.

my desire x is not able to pick up the charge...after 2 hrs of charging the phone it is not picking up the charge...any1 having the same trouble???? i got to know that this is common prob in this ph.

HTC Desire X owner, 30 May 2013I have had one of these phones for six months and it crashe... moreso u mean to say dat it's a piece of crap m going to buy....?? i've searched all similar range smartphones but the features of this fone and the look and the price is awesome..ok den suggest me with some similar range fones u found not faulty..

AnonD-150480, 29 May 2013can aybody tell me this phone can handle 720p videos or not... moreI have had one of these phones for six months and it crashes up to 10 times a day. HTC have suggested all sorts of things to fix the problem, new SIM, remove SD card, factory reboots; they've even done software updates and reinstalled the original software. Nothing works. At some point, perhaps they will discover my phone is actually faulty, but not before I have to send it back to them AGAIN. My advice? If you want a stable phone that can deal with normal android functions including video, apps etc, then avoid this one unless you want a headache.
