Have been using this cellphone for like 8 months and its quiet awesome. The battery life is great as compared with other android phones in this range plus its performance is quiet impressive.
The only shortcoming it has is the camera zoom, its limited :/

It sucks man...its just a day old n its WiFi direct doesn't work properly n mx player even doesn't work...I tried using other video player bt still its da same...have 2 rush 2 a service center

dipu, 02 May 2013thank you,Rahul.Thanks a lot. You have solved a big problem... morebut m not sure whether this restarting problem is repetative......if i face the same problem next time again m gonna go to htc service center and ask for a handset replacement.....Jus hoping it doesnt occur again:-)

i am using desire x 4months. It is a best i ever used.
I used nokia, samsung, LG, corian. I feel it is a best phone including battery backup, touch, etc.. one small problem it will heat when playing games and browsing but i am felt it is not a big problem..

sabi, 03 May 2013i bought this fone 1 month back, n now it hangs a lot.. n t... morethis prob occur due to installation lots of apps..try to uninstall some apps and install a task killer for release the background memory.

i bought this fone 1 month back, n now it hangs a lot.. n to get it work again i hav to take off the battery n insert it again.. it doesnot even switches off when it is hanged.. did someone faced the same prob? one more its the software version currently is 1.14 n every there is an update ov software version to 1.18 buh m not updating it.. would it be the issue?

very good battery life if you use only for texting and calling lastls almost 3 days after a full charge.
very good camera
Drawbacks:
no front camera
phone getting heated when playing games and using internet

Hi, I am using this phone for past 4 days, i have noticed that it gets heated in just 10 minutes of browsing. Does anyone face this problem. Can someone please suggest the solution for this issue... It is emitting so much heat that i am not able to carry it in my pocket... please help me .........

Hi,friends,can anyone help me? Yesterday night when i was downloading songs from net & sending the downloaded songs to my friend via bluetooth at the sametime,suddenly my desire x got hanged. It was restarting repeatedly. I removed the battery and placed it again. Then I switched on the mobile,but the same problem appears to me,even I couldnot switch off the phone. I removed the battery and then it got off. Do anybody have an idea? Pls help.

After owning one of these for two months I have had enough. It stopped detecting headsets including the default one (which works fine on other phones and devices like my laptop) and now it suffers from "abnormal resets" which is when it suddenly reboots then asks to submit a report on the issue. That said when its working it is responsive and the battery life is reasonable.

guys, do NOT buy this phone! I am telling you it will be a huge mistake!
after 3 weeks of using it I'm facing major problems now.
The phone turns itself off and won't turn on again unless I connect the charger and all this happens when the battery is like 80% full. It's just terrible and I can't do anything about it when I don't have the charger with me and this has been happening A LOT and it's really annoying.
DON'T GET DESIRE X. IT SUCKS
