yesterday i buy htc desire x & it really work nicely but why its heat so much some time any one will pls tell me this? its other fuction are awesome.. but any old user pls tell me is really works gud r nt ?

htcgal, 16 Dec 2012Hi I am not able to use my HTC as a WiFi hotspot...it doesn... more-It depends on the Data Service that you have with your carrier, that happened to me with my samsung phone, it says it's connected but no internet access, I called my carrier and asked, they told me even I am registered in Unlimited Data Plan on my phone, most of the time mobile hotspot service is not included and you have to pay them extra to have that, so you better try to call your carrier or service provider. :-)

Hi I am not able to use my HTC as a WiFi hotspot...it doesn't connect to my Samsung laptop. Please help! It shows the laptop as connected then the connection gets cut.

Still a suburb handset even after one month. Only issue for me so far is the 'popping' effect the phone makes while listening to music with the default music player. The popping/crackling effect occures when beats audio is enabled while listening through headphones.
I find this wont happen if using another 3rd part music player app such as amazon cloud player or poweramp.
In fact for optimum sound for all those music lovers, here is my set up:
In ear Monster Beats earphones.
Poweramp with beats audio enabled.
Both beats audio and using beats headphones will compliment eachother.
If you want to use a free musicplayer though, then I would download amazon cloud player from the playstore as I think the default player does not produce such fuller sound and it's 'popping' noise in certain mp3 pose an annoying problem.

c i thing..all htc desire X has volume...booster button problem as it is quite un comfortable nd yes it is updable to jelly bean as per it cud play 720p videos using MX player...bt sum f videos...lack due to software decoder bt u may enjoy most f videos...nt so well bt to a limited extent..as i owe this phone its gud

Ahmed, 13 Dec 2012it possible that htc fix the 720p video issue in system update?no desire x cant through any optimizations...chipset msm8225 of dsre x has old ddr1 memory system so chipset itself cant handle hd recording

i bought this fon on 25th nov. And only dat day i got d prblem in volume button ..then another day i went to the service center they replaced my cel i another cell i got it after 5days ..
Dat cell olso have d same prblm den another day i went service center dn olso dey replaced my cel.. But nw i didnt gt d fon ..they r telling me wait for sometime... Htc services sucks.(and this is real)..if yu want tu buy htc den buy above 25k...
And samsung s advance is quite good but s duos sucks...
Before purchasing think many times den only buy odrwise it will waste of me like me...
