Pablo, 01 Dec 2012I am confused between HTX Desire X and Samsung Galaxy S Duo... morego for desire x , marvellous phone , i had bought it 20 days back
really good
i spent lot of time comparing amsaung vs htc vs sony
htc is far far far better

Why without compass?! I wanted to use sky view or stelarrium mobile with this device, so i could point it in the sky and see what can I see, but it is not possible because there is no compass... It is ok phone, works fine (been using it for 3 days) but if you are an astronomer, dont buy this. I did that mistake. :)

Are you able to play GTA 3 on your DX?
On mine it freezes after every 5-10 minutes of playing and automatically restarts. Heard the same issues from galaxy s2 users too. So its not the issue of GPU of this phone but?

I bought desire x for my daughter month ago.My comments-chines quality plastic,weak video processor,weak ram,works slow with android 4.Scracheble display but with good colours.I regret cause it was better to buy Samsung galaxy S advance or newer Samsung galaxy S 3 mini-they are much more powerful,with amoled screens and gorilla glass,better video performance.Save more money and buy one of them.To save space put micro SD card and then with App 2 SD move apps from phone to sd card.Enjoy!

AnonD-82829, 03 Dec 2012Thank you datto, but one thing,how do u think about Samsung... moreDont even think about it dude ...It un-comparable ..Just dont go by spec v/s spec comparision and you will end up buying wrong product.Photo quality is amazing , better battery and better user interface.Phone does not drop calls or hang for no reason. I had an S-1 and hence i know the issues.Go for desireX , you will not regret.

Maybe you had one bad handset and thus the experience.I've been using this handset for last one month or so and absolutely glad about my decision to buy desireX .Decent battery (one full day with 100% charge)and no call drop or software hang.My earlier phone was Smg S1 , and this phone is class apart .
Just hope that u get a better replacement phone and it works fine.My opinion is that HTC has go great hardware and s/w to backit up.

I am using this mobile since last month. The GUI experience is very smooth,screen brightness is good, i can read the message even in sunlight.
I was concerned abt battery backup before buying this phone as looking at track record, most of the HTC models had low battery backup but this mobile's battery backup is excellent. With 1-1.5 hr 2g calling,30min video,1hr audio,30min skype video call last my battery upto 2-2.5 days on full charge.
The only drawback i found that this phone gets heated up near camera while browsing and capturing video otherwise the phone is very good.

Battery is fake!!!... I am unsure it is only with this phone of HTC as when I go to gallery also customer of One X has the same complain. I bought the phone a week ago and it is dead now. The phone is getting charged but cannot switch it on.. They are replacing it that is a GOOD THING but I hope teh replaced one is not defective too

this phone is good for those people who can stretch the budget from 17000rs to 19000rs (i.e instead of buying phone with single core cpu) but when compared with mid range dualcore phones in the market it lacks a lot of features.lacks 720p video recording & playing, browsing is sloppy cpu& gpu is not power full enough for multitasking

Love, 03 Dec 2012Why htc no second camera ? why why why ?If you are looking for a phone that has a secondary camera then you are looking in the wrong place. This phone is very affordable and in order to achieve that HTC had to compromise some features. But I can tell you that the main camera captures great looking photos. It is actually on par with my own digital camera from canon which I bought for $100 :)
