just quick review, I got this phone last week, the white one, and I really love the design.
minus so far are:
- lack of front camera. can't do video call.
- volume rocker is hard to press (I had to press quite deep)
- opening back cover requires nailing (I didn't have long nail so its a bit difficult).
- no gorilla glass. had to search for some screen guard.
- no shortcuts on notification center.
- no shortcut to change sound profile (silent, vibrate) on default htc lockscreen.
and the plus so far:
- storage encryption, both internal & sdcard. so I can be less worried about my private data if stolen.
- notification led, for incoming message etc. just like sony phone.
- internet pass through. kinda reverse usb tethering. so I can use high speed internet on my office pc by pluggin thru usb, eheeh.
- wifi direct. havent tried this but my friend said its quite useful.

Actually I was asking whether there are any issues while tilting the phone for collecting coins in Temple run. The desire X does not have gyro, so motion based controls might not work in most games. Let me know if it works fine in Temple run.

Compared to Single core 512MB Ram One V, Desire X is Dual core, more RAM (786MB) and will be upgraded to JB. One V will not have JB. Except these things One V and Desire X are pretty much same, but Desire X is better performer. Battery Life is good for both. You can Easily get around more than 24 hours unless you are a Super Power user.

Hi friend's, I am using this phone for last 2 week's and its simply amazing. It's touch is awesome and with very gud features. I am using white piece and it looks classy just hve to b very careful as its white. I wanted small help. which software is gud for dis phone to remove red eye from snaps

This is my 3th Desire X phone...honestly...first 2 were faulty,had to exchange them. I had before Desire and Desire S that's why I stayed with the family. 3G web browsing is fast but far from perfect....browsing on webkit...didn't try chrome. Screen is nice but I have backlit bleeding from navigation buttons into the display...another hardware fault? Somehow I can't get use to portrait keyboard,always mistyping...I'm not using word completion/prediction, spell check bcause I'm typing in other languages as well...Desire S was better. Battery is fine, nearly 2 days on moderate use. Navigation is really rubbish without compass. Still better than my friends One V. If you will be happy with 3.7inch screen, go for Desire S...best in the family and upgradable to ICS.

thinking replacing my incredable s but will be down gradding camera and ram hopefully has better recption

Its really a good phone with decent battery life and excellent s/w from HTC .This is my first HTC mobile (migrating from Samsung)and i'am really happy with the performance over last 2 weeks.Flipside is that there is no front camera (if u want video calling)for which u can look into other model's.Best dual core device money can buy (as of now)!!

Any idea when is the update for jelly bean available for this model in India .i just bought this phone 2 weeks back and the salesman told me it would be available soon..
I'am pretty happy with the performance and want to upgrade it to jelly bean from ICS.

desire x and s advance almost same specs.
s advance has better gpu than x.
