first NO you cant use this in our poor country cuz it does not have sim card slot.
second its called 4G cuz the internet connection in this fone is really quick.[10x faster than 3G (6-10MBPS)]
if you really like this fone, in febrauary, htc will release htc desire hd in our country, that is an htc evo-like fone. (but thet is not 4G)

First - This is NOT a GSM device (phones that use SIM cards like AT&T, Roger's, Orange Mobility - think iPhone as a GSM phone). This phone needs to be activated by your phone carrier with a clean ESN number that is not bad. When the phone gets banned from the network with that flagged ESN (electronic Service number), that means it is bad you can't use it other than just being a tablet device w/o phone capabilities.
Now, assuming that this device's 4G network is only for the Sprint USA bands, you may not be able to receive the full benefit of the 4G network in the Philippines. 4G network is a higher speed of internet bandwith your phone is capable of running, meanwhile it is backwards compatible to using lower speed, as it is only finding the best available data network (where you get a cell signal). So, that is why it is a 4G device - in the USA Sprint has bands with faster internet. Consult your wireless carrier. If you spend a lot of money, and find out that you can not use it because of incompatible network then you wasted your money. If you are on a CDMA network then please check compatibility.

What employer would hire you, that would require you to need of a smart phone for working. when it is obvious that you have not mastered basic communication skills so why would you need a communication device? i think this fone is the best HTC ever produced. too bad it wasnt available in Europe. Even the deisre hd isnt close. The specs for this phone are amazing and it will still be by the end of 2011. well done HTC. Next time just try to introduce something similar around the world

evo 4G htc of Sprint is the best election so that the telephone is not only a unit if that a tool for my work and by his low cost of the telephone service and data is better the HTC evo and by their speed is not the best one but for cradled Sprint it gives better its cover of 4G since the zones in California are poscas the cover so that the telephone is fast in 4G in 3G this nothing badly but not to leave to after the better serious competition a cover of 4.5G to but please for cradled Sprint

I just want to say that I have worked with wireless for the last twenty years and had just about every cell phone out there and I loved blackberry but the HTC evo is one of the best cell phones in the world for now I've also lived abroad and no phone comes close I'm sure people will say that its not a world phone but that does joy matter this phone puts the Iphone right wear it needs to be behind the HTC evo the future of smart phones thanks android and sprint and can we get something straight please I have worked for a major cell company two them and sprint works all over I have traveled with them service is fine thank you.
