Ok this phone seems to be the best out here when you look at the info of it. But what is the thing with high resolution big size n only 65K colours in the display? Even nokia 240 times 320 has 16 million colours.

I have had this phone since June...and I don't really like the battery life, If you leave 3G(or internet) on the next time you look at your phone the battery is dead. =\...maybe there will be a nice update coming

Like I am using mine in Nigeria, and it's working perfectly with 2.2

Hi, Does anyone know if this unit will work in Europe if a vanilla Froyo (Android 2.2) is installed onto it? It's by far the best phone HTC has built and for some reason they won't build us an equivalant! Features such as the kick stand, the front facing camera and the 1500 mAh battery just edge it ahead of our Desire HD the closest cusin.

This phone is the best HTC phone I have ever used. It is working great here in Nigeria and the internet is awsome, even though we dont have 4g service in Nigeria. Battery life is good.

Its indeed capacitive my friend, do a research first before you post. Its screen is slcd, not amoled, but it is a capacitive, not resistive. I dont know why you are comparing a resistive to a slcd, its doesnt make sense, capacitive and resistive is a touch screen input type, where resistive is not that responsive but enables you to use stylus, and capacitive type is very responsive, a slight touch will do but you cant use stylus, only your fingers. And about the slcd and amoled, and so on, its a different thing, it is the display itself. So desire hd has slcd screen and it has a capacitive touch input.

@krause: And if the Desire HD had a capacitive screen would have been in my pocket already...I just don't understand why htc chose S-LCD for such a great phone...it's shame...!
