If used as a phone primarily then the CPU speed is not so important. Other features which would require more CPU power would be playing MP4'3 or looking at graphics or video clips.

I just checked at my explorer in play market what is available there and it looks like u can download almost everything for explorer from play market cos of that newer arm7 processor and adobe reader is one of them.So i recommend to look at first from play market for your self and trust it gonna work in explorer

guys m using htc explorer frm past 2 months,its been workin very fine.. till now i hav not faced hanging prblm. even though it has 600mhz processor, less compared to other phones in this range, its speed is same as other phones,u can't find any difference.. screen resolution s also gud..
u can definitely go for it....

Good set w.r.t application, but battery time is low. need to charge on daily bais. Rest is excellent.
Recommended to Buy.

galaxy y is not better than explorer. galaxy y is a very bad mobile as compared to explorer. because y has low resulution camera, low resolution screen, low RAM,low sound clarity, etc as cmpard to explorer. and y don't have a GPU like in explorer. and does'nt work most of the android apps.The processor in explorer is ARM7 which is better than the processor of y(ARM6). Plz don't compare explorer with y.

This phone is better than galaxy y. 320x480 resolution, 3 mp camara,512 mb ram. I prefer HTC Explorer.

i text alot at least 150 sms in a day and fb chatting,
currently am using a cell phone which has a physical keypad but now i want to buy a new phone
i am confused b/w explorer and fire xt
from which cell phone texting would be great that is a deciding factor so i request all of you to reply that which phone is good for texting?

I have been a gadget freak and have tried almost all types of mobile phones. Let me be very honest. HTC Explorer is the best thing that has ever happened to me. It makes life so easier, you dont need to carry a laptop or ipad anymore. It has everything you can call for in a mobile phone. A topper is the WIFI hotspot that has made internet connectivity a kids play. Though the memory on the phone is low, but I realize that pre installed application and a few essentials make this a no-nonsense serious business phone. Connectivity and network is great. The only disappointment to this phone is the camera. If you are a serious business freak...i would recommend HTC explorer anytime if you want...connectivity on the move, lightening fast browsing, wifi hotspot, excellent gps, and mobile mails..

guys in our college all the social networking sites Will be blocked on our college Wi-Fi so is there any app on play store by installing which I would be able to browse through those sites. please help me with this. thanks in advance.
