I have been using dis phn for abt a week and honeslty speaking it has been an awesome experience.explorer can just abt do everything from playing hd games to giving gr8 audio and video.internal memory is nt a problem coz u only need abt 30 apps for ur everyday life and for hd games it stores directly to sd card.camera is average so ppl who r looking for phones just to click photos avoid dis phone and dont pollute the opinions section with same annoying sh!t!

according to my research, HTC is made in Taiwan.

For me, i would go for Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 or Samsung Galaxy Y Duos S6102 or LG Optimus Net P690

folks, till now i replied for many doubts.once upon im also like u that i doubted in explorer. but i campared many fones with the explorer.in every thing its jus beated.but only thing is camera.frankly after some days ul forget about camera for any mobile.in d begning only will think about camera.n remaing evry thing it jus rockin.its supportin all the video formates till 800*480. n i have many HD games like backstab,asphalt5 & 6,nfs pursuit, shift, assains creed, nova, gta3, battlefield, combat3, shadow gaurdain, gun shadow, fast five, n some other games. n i have some general games like dark legends,teple run, angry bird, etc. n i have many apps.its workin properly.sometimes its hanging.but not many times.n my battery backup is 1day bcz im alwas playin games n listenin music.n for android mobile dont expect much backup.if u want good back up juz use the fastboot pro,n set brightness in low.n night times set sleep mode,switch on power saver after 30% battery.problem slove.
now comin to internal memory.its low but we can store 30 to 40 apps depend on occupied memory.so no problem.in my explorer i have 35 apps still i have 35mb space still i can install another 15apps roughly.
so my suggestion is dont ask that whether this mobile is good or not.absolutely its awesome..jus go for it..without second thought..-:)

all those people crying about the space on this phone here -- let me tell you i'm owning this device from last 2 months and i have 56 apps installed in it and i still have 24mb of free space left! and its not rooted, and i'm not lying! 56 apps so far, all productive and important apps - including 10 HD games of about 500mb each in size, shadow gun, assassins creed, dead space, GTA 3, you name it!!!
if a mobile priced at 8,000 RS. gives you that kind of a performance with a brand as epic as HTC, its needless to say it beats all the biggies and shorties in its competition! this mobile will seriously blow your mind away once you see its limits of performance!

androi... moreExit option is present in al the games and coming to the apps-the exit option pops up on touching the options key and in some apps lik file managers hitting the back key twice exits an app......the hd games that i've tried and got working in my explorer are asphalt5 hd,assassins creed altairs chronicles,GTA 3,NFS shift,nova hd,pes konami,FIFA ,dead space and a few I can't remember ....just google for hvga games u can find them......enjoy wid u'r new mob :)

I have been gifted HTC Explorer. Though I was new to Android phones. I have quickly realized that this is a fantastic phone. Its Fast and the touch interface is superb. Don't go by the numbers on the processor. Even though the cpu is 600MHz, its performs faster.
However, there is one draw back. If you are a Camera guy.. want to take lot of pics then just forget this one. This has got the worst camera which does not focus to infinity (what a fixed focus cam should acutally do - focus to infinity so that any distance object either 5 feet or 50 feet the pic will be sharp).
If camera is your least option then I believe you should go for it.
