camera is not so good,
it can store only 28 apps in phone even though if there is a sd card,
cool games can be found on www.fank.mobi and these games are better than those of android market,
the phone heats up due to prolong use of internet...

I got this mobile... gud use, some where while openings contacts n cal history it taking bit 2 seconds of time to open... Can we get any one version of upgrade after 2.3.5(gingrbrid)... please inform me if there any upgrades....

After much of the search I finally settled for HTC Explorer. Bought it on ebay for the price of 7990.
For the price range, its the best one available.
Pros:
HTC sense is really good. Touch screen is best in class.
The 600MHz processor performs adequately (It has the latest chipset)
Flash available.
Looks wise better than the others in the same range.
Battery is good. (Use Settings->Power Options to adjust according to your needs)
The HTC build quality is great
Cons:
The internal memory can be issue if u intend to install lots of applications.
Camera is average.
Lots of sites mention it has the digital compass but after much of the search i have found that there is no digital compass (still its named as Explorer :D ).
Overall its a great deal. Go for it.

Hi All, There are some confusions related to HTC explorer which i want to clear, firstly it is coming with 2 GB memory card in the box and the second handsfree is not coming in box but it is coming separately if you demand this with the seller they have to give this because they receive the handsfree also. I am using this phone from last 4 days I bought this mobile from Spice store they gave me in 9000 with original handsfree and 2 GB memory card scrach card price is not included.
People are saying that this is the beginner phone because the price is down but i want to say that it is very genuine phone and if anybody want to begin then please go with samsung galaxy y not HTC, it is a brand and we need to handle this mobile with very care. as far as memory concern it is inbuilt 512 MB where it provied free user memory 90 MB but after purchase this mobile go to factory default you will get 35 mb memory extra, i done it and i get 125 mb free user memory the after we can install the softwares what we want. if you inrease the battery output keep off you GPRS and wi-fi, when you require then only on these settings, you will get 2 days output from battery. It has no any problem with network connectivity or sd card problem like samsung galaxy Y.

1. can we move installed apps from phone memory to SD card ?
2. does it slow down due to continuous usage ?
3 im getting this device for 9.4k with 2 year warranty and HTC headsets is it a good deal ??

Guys prefer this phone buying in flipkart as u'll get orginal headset no need of extra buying at retailer and u'll get 8GB memory card of class-4 for free frm flipkart and 2GB included with phone...

is it true u can only store around 30 apps on the fone due to its low memory even u have an microsd card ? thats wat some prev comments said..and dpes the fone start lagging after a few months ?
