Does this phone have Keypad texting, i cant use qwerty at all so i need the old school texting format! I know some android phones like the samsung etc you can change it from qwerty to keypad so was hoping this was the same! thanks

it seems like... morehey dude.. how is the camera quality of this phone? is it decent for occasional photography and uploading to internet? and does it have autofocus?

1. Even though the processor is 800 MHz still it lags up occassionally and will hang up if you open up more than two apps at a time
2. Battery backup is not very good.. the battery drains within a day even on moderate usage(no gps, 3g, wifi)
3. Camera quality isn't good at all
LG service center wasn't able to rectify any of the above problems or even clarify
Also, the reviews of this phone are not very good.

I bot this mob. a week ago and belv me its 100 times betr dn nokia.now its my best frnd too.so,guys dont think so much abt its quality.just go for it and it wont let u down.only one drawback is lack of flashlight,so dark area images are very bad. Except that, all odr features are fantastic.htc sense 3.5 is unbelivable.gps system is very very very fast.sound qlty is also very good.btry lasts one day easily.capacitive touch is sooooo fast & responsive.der r thousands of free android apps in 'market'.and many more..............so dont waste ur time to search ur suitable handset.....''explorer hai naa!!!!!!"

your comparison ... moredude I'm most probably going for the explorer.. it suits my usage requirements and also saves a couple of thousand bucks than the Xperia mini :D.. I have a few more queries regarding the Explorer(sorry I've been bugging u guys a lot with my queries.. its just that I wanna spend money on a phone that's really worth it and can be used for a long time). Could u please clarify the following:
1. Could u please clarify if the phone supports motion gaming?
2. Is the internal memory(90MB) sufficient enough to install apps? can new apps be installed in the memory card?
3. Here in Chandigarh the phone is coming with a 2GB memory card, with apps pre-installed on it.. And from what retailers tell me there's only 1GB free memory in it.. My question is if I use a 4GB card(I have one), can the apps pre-installed on the stock card be copied onto the new card, and can they be used from the new one?
4. Is there an option to mark multiple SMSs for bulk deletion? is the same also applicable for copying/moving/deleting multiple files stored in the phone memory or SD card?
5. Can contact groups be created for sending SMS to multiple contacts? Is yes, how many contacts can be added in one group?
6. Does the phone have an ambient light sensor?(it's mentioned in some reviews on the internet)

Guys juz check LG optimus net before going to it if ur really a app and game lover go for net as it has 800MHz....or if u think of browsing with speeds go for explorer as lg net has 3.6mbps only for 3g speed.
