it is also faster than galaxy y for the same reason.more over galaxy y doesnt have a gpu.

explorer is twice as fast as wildfireS because it is based on a newer architecture.it has 45 nm conductors as opposed to 65nm on the wildfire.and yes it is faster than your msm7227t at 800mhz that is used in lg optimus net because net is based on arm11 that uses 65nm conductors(same as wildfireS).so even though it is clocked at 600mhz it is faster than msm7227t clocked at 800mhz.so dont always think that a higher clocked cpu is faster than the lower clocked one.

Hi friends, htc explorer is amazing experience using it personally. Htc sense is very very smooth. I would recommend you all go for blindly you will definitely enjoy using it.

i've been using this phone for about 2 weeks now and i could say that i've made the right decision, i've been choosing between wildfire s, optimus net and optimus hub.
i wouldnt even compare it to the galaxy y bec its just too cheap looking and the screen is just awful.
i have no problems with the explorer's screen, its clear even out on a sunny day.
the explorer is definitely faster and more responsive than any of the other phones i mentioned, probably bec it was using a newer snapdragon chipset.
the memory space on paper said 90mb but after i did a factory reset it gave me 150mb free space to use. most of the apps that i needed can be xferred to the sd anyway like office, file managers, pdf apps and games. came also with a task manager pre-installed.
battery life is alright. with casual txt, calls, wifi and games it gives me about 2-3days without a battery app or anything like that. switching to gsm only and disabling packet data help save the battery.
the ui is better than anything else, thats what i didnt like on lg and on any plasticky samsungs.
htc is also known for build quality. the phone feels just right, looks classy compared to the optimus net and optimus hub.
the camera is just alright, been using it for taking casual pictures. it not the best but it does the job. if you're looking for an android phone that takes great quality pics as well, be prepared to shell out more cash.
the price of the wildfire s and explorer here is almost the same. so if you have to choose between the two you have to think if you want a better cam or overall better performing phone.

Hi all. Happy new year. I gt explorer. Its a briill fone. Very fast on internet. I installed adobe flash , very good on bbc iplayer . Good loud sound for music. U can change icons on homescreen. All n all a very good fone. Would highly rcommend it to anyone. Thinkn of buyn it. Have a good 2012 everyone. ;).

I hav wildfite and its a good fon. But no flash in camera on explorer. But theres a flash on wilfire. But i really like explorer. Byeee

RAM= RANDOM ACCESS MEMORY, the more the ram the less the lag. The 512MB ROM is READ-ONLY-MEMORY. Which is the android firmware. The 90MB is the storage u get to use.
