I bought this phone soon after it was released, and it has totally lived upto my expectations. processor is fast, touch sensitivity superb, design and graphics (UI) are also good to look at. It manages my social networking effeciently and is better than Samsung galaxy lineup in similar price range.

kasan, 21 Nov 2011i want to buy this phone........how is it?sorry for getting back late...I was exploring the explorer...;) its a cool phone ...I tell u guys...I am having it for more than a month..get it ...enjoyyy...drawbacks???...hmmmm...nothing big...I can't message properly in my mother tongue...too difficult to type..:( bt anyway I have to live with it in any smartphone....sound output is poor....but in headset its gooodddd...sunlight visibility is average..its good anyways for a safe life...u won't look in phone while walking on road n get into accidents..;) get a,screenguard..catches fingerprints easily..apps are all fine...memory,ram evrything is good..camera is also good in daylight..dats it guyzzz 4 nw..buh byeee..

demon, 02 Dec 2011which one is better- nokia 500 or htc exploreri had purchased both nokia 500 and htc explorer. i returened nokia 500 to the dealer because it does not better screen light and hanging again n again. and now the htc explorer is the best fon in compare with nokia 500 dude.

It has letest 600mhz scorpion ARMv7 processor so this phone can support firefox and adobe flash player....

if you are doing a comparison between the Wildfire S and the Explorer, here's a good one http://www.pestaola.gr/htc-wildfire-s-vs-htc-explorer/#more-43233 (it's in greek so you need to translate the page) this proves that the Explorer is 40% faster and consumes less battery power than the Wildfire S. so if you are willing to sacrifice the 5 mega pixel camera for an overall better performance, then go for the Explorer. i know i will.

Normal, only phone + Music + Browsing = 1-1.5 Days
With WiFi/GPS = Less than a day
NO LAG, Games are mostly smooth
Multitask-decent(have seen better though)
I haven't got any issues whatsoever, due to internal memory. Apps going to SD Card. Have 119 apps, no issues (have 4GB Card, it came with 2GB Card though)
