If you don't want install link2sd, just instal this rom

make sure your phone is rooted and use custom recovery. Use high performance sd (I recommend class 10) and make two partition, the first one is fat32 (cluster 32bit) for your data, second is ext4 (I suggest 1GB). after install this rom, download terminal emulator and type "su" then type "m2sd dalvik enable". reboot

I don't think that what he mean is app2sd apps from playstore.

[deleted post]Dude most HTC phones above 2011 are releasing with locked bootloaders so u first need to unlock it by going to a website called htcdev/boot loader and select a option called all other selected models because ur phone is not listed in that so now follow the procedure and unlock it nd its really easy so afterunlocking ur phone download superuser.zip from google and put it on ur memory card now turn off ur phone remove battery insert it and press volume down and power button at the same time for 5 seconds now u entered bootloader so now select recovery mode using volume keys and for enter use power button and select install zip from SD and now navigate through memory card and select that superuser.zip and click install after installing now ur phone is easily rooted within seconds and after reboot it, now u can do anything for ur phone easily like linktosd or installing custom rooms etc for more info reply to my comment

jackhunk, 16 Nov 2012hey bro is there any harm in rooting in explorer plz reply meeeeeRooting have risk of bricking the phone if done incorrectly,so it must be done carefully.For rooting procedure google -xda developers and search how to root this phone.
