2 yrs back, iphone was the best touchscreen smartphone, 1 yr back WINMOs were the best touchscreens, now S60V5 smartphoes r the best, n tomorrow ANDROID running touchscreens r the best smaryphones.. android is the fastest growing touchscreen smartphone platform till now... i wish i hadnt bought 5800 xm, but in near future i will surely buy an android. Android smartphones r the best interms of UI and features... This nexus one is the king of androids.... means king of smartphones.... if u understand whats a smartphone, u'll dream to get this phone, not that loser iphone. iphone doesnt even has multitasking... how can it be the king???? be logical guys.... king is one which is the best.. even 5800xm us better than iphone... TODAYS best smartphone is HTC GOOGLE NEXUS ONE...... cheers

on the bottom of the phone there is 3 gold dots out of 4. this is not damaged. it is the hole for the speaker when you talk to someone! i thought it was damaged during shipment.
fyi, the phone speaker is much softer than the DROID. something to think about if you have problem hearing your ringtone when you left it in your pocket.

about one year ago before android, one had to choose between specs phones (like omnia HD) or fun phones (like iphone) .. because simply apps available for "specs phones" (like symbian or java phones) are crap compared to iphone apps.
but now after the comming of android phones.. this have changed!!
android applications are now more than 20,000 apps , but the surprise is that they were only 6000 apps six months ago, so they have increased 14000 apps during the last 6 months !!! waw!!
and i've read in dedicated mobile sites that 2010 will definitely be the android year, because Android is an opened OS and every programer can develop applications for it, you know google held a contest for best 10 android apps and rewarded the winners (first prize was 100,000$)
and finally.. you can see the relatively large number of android phones from several companies have come out in less than a year, and this indicates that the coming year will be definitely the android year,
for me I prefer nexus one over other androids because it's google phone made by HTC (one of the best mobile companies) and has the best specs with a larg number of apps, and i'm sure that this number will increase and exceed iphone apps to become number one within one year.

got my nexus one. my first android phone, need to get used to it. overall i think it's a great phone, fast, no lagging when opening an app. The life homescreens and backgrounds are cool, however, the speaker sound is not the best, and i don't get why they need the trackball considering it's a touch screen..well, probably i'll figure it out later. Overall it's a great phone.

what does android offer over the iPhone in comparison to compatibility for apps. the apple app store offer thousands of apps for anythnig. And i sync my iphone with itunes and it is always backed up what does the nexus one do in terms of syncing media and apps?

The jet is an average 'feature' phone, unless you have a small budget, stay well clear of it

I was looking forward to this phone so much, I just now read it has no radio.........for us in South Africa, a major thing to leave out with all our power cuts.
