Now theres a good reason to throw my iPhone. Tis new phone will be the new benchmark in the touchscreen smartphone tier. Though the reviews arent elaborated in the games area. But I know it'll rock because of the 3D support and Snapdragon thingie.

Are you kidding me guys!! Nexus One is such a crazy good phone blows the iPhone out the water. Sorry multitasking, android os, 5mp camera w/ flash... and oh yeah 1GHz snapdragon processor? umm yeah all that is way better than the iPhone sorry fan boys

I was never a fan HTC products.
looks ugly design compared to the iphone.
No multitouch and battery life is shorter.
Iphone is the best all round phone.

why do all the android phones lack the second cam.
aren't video calls possible with android ?
just because apple couldn't do it, there is no more need for video calls ?
i don't really need it, but it is nice to have when you're explaining something. and i can use it for free.
i'd really love to buy this phone, but i'd never go for a phone without video calls.

I have played with this phone. This is the Best Android phone in the market. The phone is Super Super Super FAST.
Did i say FAST. I think they Google should capitalize the S and NeXuS for speed (lol, 3GS joke). The phone is very
responsive. The LED display is just amazing. Very bright and vivid watching video and picture. 3.7 in (iPhone 3.5
in) makes it nice and big to do anything. Because of the larger screen I have no trouble adjusting from my former
hardware keyboard Cliq to NeXuS One. As lazy as I am, Google is doing a great job making me more lazy by putting
in the awesome voice to text future. I did a 3 day test where I didn't type any of my Text message and emails
instead I just spoke the words. I am not saying it perfect and it will understand everyone punctuation and accent
but it got 96% correction. Only few words came out something different maybe because of my pronunciation. The Live
wallpaper is nice touch to make the phone look pretty to look at. Totally dig the weather app/widget. The 5MP
camera is pretty much same as any other stander 5MP camera phone. Gallery is some to really look at. If you used
Cooliris with Firefox plugin to view pictures and video you will love the gallery app. Its basically a port to
Android for its gallery app. This is what Open Source all about. Along with gallery I hope other apps in Android
get update to better or similar experience (like music, youtube, etc). The battery life fairly lasted me all day
after normal to heavy usage which includes web browsing 2 hours 3g and wifi, 2 hours of video playback, 1-2 hour
of phone call, 1 hour of 3d game played and 3 hours of music. I use the Advance Task Manager.app from the market
where it closes all the apps in background. As the iPhone I use to closing most of my apps right after I am done
using them. I do have 2-3 apps runing in back all the time with is excluded from my closing apps list. After
playing video, music, game or browser I alway close the apps. Doing so I realized I get much better battery life
then leaving them on also much smoother and faster Android experience.

Nick, 06 Jan 2010GSM Arena worryingly reports that the X10 will have only 25... morewe can't know for sure until both phones hit the market... regarding the UI i meant the design of the UI not the efficiency and performance.
same here i will holding to my HTC HD waiting for 6.5 upgrade and my iPhone and the iPhone is not replaceable for sure

This is less than the last generation HTC Touch HD. The Nexus has 512mb of RAM and 512mb of ROM. This will come down to the efficiency of the UI software, Android on the Nexus and Sonys own build on the X10. I will be holding onto my Touch HD until i have read several reviews of both phones and tried them both. New system software builds can be plagued by bugs and error after all.

Phalon, 06 Jan 2010It's called the HTC HD2 and all UK carriers are dropping it.No it isnt, it has a smaller screen and more ram than the HD2. It runs Android OS as standard and the HD2 is windows 6.5 native with a HTC custom user interface. It shares the 1Ghz processor with the HD2, but so do several other recently released and proposed phones. Why comment if you dont have a clue what you're talking about?

i want to say that google is unique search engine in the world.So this device by google is also unique.well difference between Iphone 3GS vs google nexus one.so i want to say both are best because both have equal quality & equal status of specification but google is 15% up from Iphone 3Gs in the processor speed and RAM speed.So we sholud say google nexus one is best and high specification cell phone in all over the world

I think it's cool and i'm sure Google will have some really excellent apps soon. I love Google because they do things uniquely and really surprise you each time and Android is no different. I would have bought it if it had a cam for video calls, I don't want to have to use a mirror to conference. Not as good as the iPhone as yet, needs apps.

not really surprising for me ...even samsung i8910 omnia HD owns google Nexus one by their standby time.Despite their CPU level, a 600Mhz cpu is more than enough. Moreover google did not fully utilize the use for that remaining 400Mhz to use for.

Better than I phone -
a. Better screen
b. multiple applications can run at any given time
c. Better camera
d. Available unlocked - so we dont have to jailbreak.
e. Could be slightly chaeper but still reasonable price ( better than jailbroken I phone or X10)
f. Possibility of further software upgrade.
G. Flash 10.1 support so websites are livelier.
Of course, music player could be better. Believe google can fix this too.

BlackBoy, 06 Jan 2010Is not just the CPU the wifi, uses a/b/g/N the bluetooth is... moreif ur looking at specs, basically everything is an iphone killer. nokia offered a 3.5" touchscreen with more resolution in 2004 than the iphone 3gs currently has, just to give u an idea of how outdated some iphone specs r. (see nokia 7710) the only thing keeping iphone alive is basically its app store and the apple sticker on the back for fanboys. so calling any phone an iphone killer is pointless cos they r all iphone killers (in terms of specs).
