I've had my N1 for around 3 months now, and it's utterly brilliant. I work at a phone store, and have owned both a 3G and 3Gs iPhone (among many others) over the years.

As much as I'd like to say that the iPhone isn't a competitor (as it shouldn't be, damn apple marketing) it it. And so side by side the N1 blows it out of the water on everything aside from Apps, and even that's grown larger than 40k Apps (with significantly more free apps than the Apple store).

Camera is brilliant for a phone, screen is delightful (and despite what others say, it IS readable in sunlight, just turn the brightness up fools!). One of the things that impressed me was the fact that in pitch black, you can't make out where the edge of the screen is, even when the centre is lit up! The black pixels are just that, incredibly black (as if the screen were off).

I've recently upgraded to Android 2.2, and it's insanely fast. I am yet to trip it up on speed, I've tried closing and opening every single ap I have, and the only one that took any real time to load was a game, Replica Island. Just VERY snappy response.

There's really too much to go into, but I love this phone. And I've used it against the X10, the Desire (just as good, though it depends on taste of UI, and N1 has 2.2 early) the iPhones and just about every nokia.

N1 is legendary, and I'll easily buy an N2 over an iPhone 4 (I'll be getting one on contract just to SELL as some sucker's will pay $400+ on top of what a phone's worth just for the apple logo)

used this phone for 1 month, its states its processor is quick but this phone lags generally while scrolling through your phone, not so quick. appearance is good but its not perfect, the iphone is perfect, never does it lag, its just all put so good. Im being honest guys, its 2 weeks im on the 3gs and nomore will i believe any hype of htc phones.
