I got this phone 4 days back and its awesome. I am an iPhone user and I always felt that there are no phones that come close to the iPhone yet. I also owned an HTC HD2. I got rid of it and got the google nexus and im in love with this phone. Its simply awesome!!! The processor is very very fast compared to the WinMo 6.5 in HD2. The display is brilliantly bright and vibrant. The best thing about Android is the marketplace where majority of the apps are available for free. This is a superb phone overall.

The iPhone 3GS and Nexus One are both offered in contract and contract-free variations. The Nexus One is currently available in the United States through T-Mobile for a price of $179.00 with a 2-year service contract. The iPhone 3GS is currently exclusive to AT&T in the United States and costs $199 for the 16GB variation and $299 for the 32GB variation with a 2-year service agreement. AT&T offers the iPhone 3GS out of contract for $599 and $699 for the 16GB and 32GB variations respectively. The Nexus One comes unlocked direct from Google for $529.00. In either case, the Nexus One comes in below the price of the iPhone 3GS.

The Nexus One, by contrast, has a one-gigahertz processor--more than 60 percent faster than the processors in the iPhone 3GS, Palm Pre, and BlackBerry Bold 9700, according to several benchmarks. The Nexus One also has a beautiful high-resolution screen--800 by 480 pixels crammed into 3.7 diagonal inches for a display that's roughly 250 dots per inch, making even tiny text quite legible. (Apple's new iPad, in comparison, is 1,024 by 768 pixels on a screen that's 9.7 inches, for just 132 dots per inch.) The Nexus's five-megapixel camera can autofocus and takes detailed photos at six centimeters, and it has a surprisingly bright LED flash. The phone also has a standard 3.5-millimeter headphone jack, which means you don't need those bulky adapters to use high-end earbuds.
