Had mine for a couple of day now and it really is very impressive. As a SE user i was going to wait for the X10 to replace my X1 but decided to switch to the Nexus after seeing some of the coverage about it....

This handset is lightning quick with a lovely screen, very responsive and not unpleasant on the eye. Feel really good in the hand and is very light yet sturdy.

A lot of very good apps on the market to play with, and the flash update on the way....all we need now is divx support (please!)

5YCH081, 27 Jan 2010This phone is definitely the best phone I have ever used. M... moreYou forgot to include the price difference too.. iphone 3GS costs about $2-300 more for less feature and performance.. GPS on Nexus One is super fast, almost instantly.

ramonov, 27 Jan 2010Can you transfer files through bluetooth on this phone/use ... morei know i can xfer files via Bluetooth. I'm not sure how to use it as a modem. I LOVE this phone.. for the price $535 w/out a contract.. you just cannot buy something this good for that price. 1Ghz fast, great beautiful screen, capacitive touch, great audio via earphone, great free applications especially IM's., it just doesn't have MS Office Mobile, but you can view files.

This phone is definitely the best phone I have ever used. My wife and I have AT&T; she has an iPhone 3GS (that I jailbroke), and I have this Nexus One. Even though I can't use the 3G, it is a much better phone. Of course this is an opinion, but not one based on specs; it is based off of actual usage comparison.

I think these spec comparisons speak loud enough. Yes, the iPhone has many more apps; but most of them are copies or stupid/pointless. And, don't foget the amount of customization the Android OS can do without hacking compared to the iPhone's OS (without jailbreaking). However, I digress; because, as we all know, it is about personal preference. Just don't post fanboy comments about either without actually using them both.

Can you transfer files through bluetooth on this phone/use it as a bluetooth modem? SE X10 seem to be having this functionality.

After reading and seeing videos about iphone 3gs and nexus one, i settled for keeping my iphone 3gs because it is unbeatable when it comes its UI in totality.. though doesnt have live wallpaper but the humongous applications definitely make my day.. for games, for productivity and other multimedia related stuff..
for those thinking of losing your iphone 3GS for a nexus one, think it over and over and over..

Now I went to the specifications page and didn't see anything about it supporting .3gp videos. My mistake or for real ? And all you guys very well know how valuable 3gp is, to us right ? :) Link to official webpage : http://www.google.com/phone/static/en_US-nexusone_tech_specs.html

there is still no phone out there that meets everything that i want in a phone. i need it to have 3g 850, qwerty keyboard, capacitive touchscreen, android and 3.5mm audio jack. if i take out the 3.5mm then theres the motorola backflip and shadow but dont want one of them. right now have a sony ericsson xperia x1.

I used to have the iphone and actually jailbroke it and used it for about 6 months. Loved the things. Apple did set the bar high and you can see that after the iphone touch screen is pretty much becoming a standard for most high end phones. Having said that, I got the G1 when it came out and have never gone back to the Iphone after that. It is a little over rated but that's not to say that i hate it. just giving my opinion that between Nexus and Iphone 3gs...I like the nexus way better. It all boils down to your own personal preference.

Well it looks nice. I do not like the UI, but with few themes if they are, will be better. I like the HD 2 UI more. And guys dont forget that apple wont be sitting and watching doing nothin, I am sure that till this summer they will blow the market with somethig new. I like the apple software more, and i thinks ist better then android, but lets see Apples answer :)
