Just running WP7 rom on my HTC HD2 for the 1st time ...
Frankly, it does not look bad at all (as I initially feared). I am very impressed with the speed of operation. Plan to run it for the next couple of days to checks out other stuff. Thus far....
        > Calls are clears and good and stable
        > Data (3G) is connecting and am browsing now
        > Have been able to sync ONLY my gmail (email) and WITHOUT contacts yet.
        > Will check out the wifi connection, music and video play later.

        Great work DFT!!!

[deleted post]No that is not all you need.
And that does not look like the page I told you to read.
Did you read the post dated. 2011-01-02 04:15 ?
The full list of what you need and how I did it is there.
Replace my ROMs with your phone version of 3.14.xxx.x & 1.66.xxx.x
And add “Windows mobile device center” to that list.
Have you ever flash an original ROM using the SD card method?

Battery standby time is not similar in practical use. It's standby time is 8to 10hours in 2G Network.

bboystylo, 25 Jan 2011hi anthony when im trying to flash the hspl3 it failed caus... moreWhen you first started talking about wanting to install an NAND ROM. I asked you what ROM you had.
When you told me you have a 3.14 ROM, I told you of one of my past post to read which explained what you had to get and what you had to do, I even stated why you had to do some of it. I also gave a link for a web page to read. And told you after reading if there was anything you did not understand just ask but take the time to explain what you don’t understand….
Do you remember any of this?
                    Now answer this question.
Did you ever take the time to read what I told you to read?
Did you get everything from the list I said you had to get?
Installing a NAND ROM is no game. If you half ass it you will brick your phone.
Go back and read what I told you. And ask questions about what you don’t understand and what you don’t know how to do and I will help then. Not before.

jr, 24 Jan 2011yo guy I didn't know i was getting a clone I ordered it ofl... moreWORLDPHONE VERSION that is what they trying to feed you??? LOL
All HTC HD2 phone have quad band 2G. That makes every last one of them world phones.
Even the provider branded HD2 that are SIM locked are world phones you just have to ask your provider to unlock it when you need to travel (no hacking needed)

Some common ways to know your HD2 is a fake.

                        1. it came with a stylus
                        2. it’s not running windows mobile 6.5
                        3. Your ROM # can’t be found in “software information” or the # is not one that HTC uses. (and you know you did not hack your phone.)

                        4. when it is off and you hold the “volume down” key and turn it on, it does not go to the boot loader and show you your digitally signed (HTC original) SPL

                        5. One of the screws under the battery cover does not have a cap with the word meaning “Void” written on it.

                        6. The battery cover is not made of metal
                        7. You don’t have the 3 car kit terminals left of the SIM card slot.

                        8. The screen is not glass
                        9. You don’t have 5 physical keys at the bottom of the phone.

                        10. There is no light and proximity sensor to the left of the front speaker.

If any of the above applies to you. You don’t have and original HTC HD2.

And if you don’t have an original don’t expect it to work like an original.

a clone can never ever ever EVER! be the same as an original. stop dreaming, you get what you pay for, you think the clone was cheaper because it has the same things an quality as the original?stop wasting people time on the HD2 forum, when you don't have a HD2.

                                You sure you don’t have a HD2 clone/knock off
Most people complain that it is too sensitive and 3rd party developers made software to decrees the sensitivity

jgk, 24 Jan 2011I wrote that my phone on SIM2 worked but in the meantime it... moreLet see how best I can explain this.
In older versions of WM there was a tool in the tools menu called SIM Tool Kit. It would let you manage your SIM (see/edit) information that was kept on the SIM.
Back in the day this was important because most people kept important information stored on the SIM like sms, mms, e-mail, addresses, SIM provider name, just to name a few.
But times have change and must thinks are now kept on phone memory or the cloud and some providers don’t like you messing with there SIM so the interface for the SIM Tool Kit was taking out of some newer ROMs. The service is still there and the dual SIM needs the service active so it can work. But now in the newer ROMs there in no longer a UI for the SIM Tool Kit. That is why I use BsB Tweaks to turn it on. If it is off by default.
That will not give me back the SIM tool kit UI but it will let the Dual SIM UI load because apparently the Dual sim uses the services of the SIM tool kit so it can work.

                                    Hope you understand.
Basically if you can’t find a SIM tool kit in your start menu, its because you don’t have a UI for that in your ROM. but you can still have it “on” with out a UI by turning it “on” from BsB tweaks which will let the dual sim UI load.

I am giving up on this but before I want to clarify one last thing - you said the "STK service must be off by default" and you switch it on with bsb Tweaks.
Have no problems with Tweaks but I cannot find the default setting in my WinMo6.5 to check it ?
