it does that if it & the sim is not all the way in or the sim is not lined up perfectly (with the one with the sticky side). take a look at my picture again and see how far i pushed my own in to get it to work. the joining band was all the was in the side of the sim slot. take your time and take it out. line it up again. and get that sucker as far in the slot as it can go. you will have to fold the band over to get it in the space on the side of the sim and the slot. look at the picture.
Remember you will have to push hard because of the tight fit but at the same time, take your time or you will rip it. Also the the circuit is brown, so if you left the white sponge on, take that off that is just part of the packaging. If it seeing sim2 It's working because sim2 is the one outside the slot. Your sim one is not lined up perfect, or something is blocking the electric flow. Clean your sim get all the sponge off the holder. Try not to damage or role-up the glue.

1. install bsb tweak... moreThanks, did all this but nothing changed ?? After all my trying I get now the message that no sim card is inserted - my guess is, that I got a faulty card holder. The part which is inserted under the sim card doesn´t seem to work.
Will call the UK shop on Monday and then go from there. But thanks again for sharing your insights.

1. install bsb tweaks.
2. turn on "ST... moreLeft out a step so this is a re-write
1. install bsb tweaks
2. turn on “STK service”
3. Exit program.
4. Pick “NO” from the pop up.
5. Restart the phone.

1. install bsb tweaks.
2. turn on "STK service".
3. pick "no" from the pop up.
4. restart the phone. (you should see the program after that.)
SIM Tool Kit must be off by defalt on your phone.
keep me up to date about what was the result.

Dual-Sim-Card - yes, I am the guy you were so kind to send your pictures to and yes I bought exactly the one you mentioned. I also was looking for the menu in the program folder but nada ?
I am using only WM 6.5 and I have Co0kie 2.0 installed.

You have to look in your start meun for the app call “Dual Sim Card” or add it to your quick links for quick access. Let me know if you find it.
The one I use is made like the 4th add to cart on the web page below.

are you the person i gave the link of where to buy and emailed the picture of the one i have. so you know which to get. because not all will work in the HD2. and the one I'm using has an interface to do the switching. but the interface only works in windows mobile, not my android.
ny the way, do you have ben tweaks installed?

Anthony, I finally got the Dual-Sim-Card holder but it does not work ? No menu is coming up ? Dialing 007 or so does not result in anything ?
It seems that only the SIM2 slot can be read ? What do I do wrong ?

you have to be "registered" in order to login.
did you ever register with XDA? It's free to do so. and i think you get the option to "register" if you click the download and you are not "loged in"
let me know if you are still having problems.
