After many over sites and mistakes on my part, Im happy to say
I GOT IT WORKING :)
Android with No Windows Mobile on a HD2
I know this is a dream for some of you guys
The cam works and flash in web browser
I checked them first.
I will play a bit more with it till my friend comes back for his phone.
For you guys that got stuck
Write in detail what you did, and where you got stuck. And what what the software you started with.

        I did my NAND flashing yesterday with "stock Desire". Went very well and ran so effortlessly. So nice to fianlly have Android run truly from "inside".
        Today I flashed again with NexusHD2-Froyo NAND. Went through again without any issues and the speed is unbelieveable. Compared to the "Stock Desire", I think the NexusHD2-Froyo NAND is better for me. So am sticking to NexusHD2-Froyo for now.
        Everyone --- just follow the set of instructions and you should successfully flash an NAND Android Rom to your HD2.

          In the next 2 hours a friend of mine is coming over to flash a NAND Android Rom to his HD2 and totally replace his WM ROM. (no more dual booth, just Android from internal memory)Ill let you guys know how it went and what I think about it.

            once again you will have to format your SD to remove all files of that Android you started installing.

I went back t... moreif you are using 1.66 GCC and you want the 1.66 UK all you have to do now is use SSPL to change the OS only and leave your radio and SPL intact. Its not hard but If you need help in doing that let me know.

                  I have inzipped and put the folder on sd card.
                  Also, my sd card is 8gb class 4 card.
                  However, my Rom is stock with no change either hspl, hspl1 or 2.
                  Also, i get the main andriod screen for about 4 sec. and the screen goes blank.

                    there is no 3.14 for GCC. I went back to 1.66 with the normal spl. Android works now !

                        WP7 has not been ported to the HD2 yet. You can now install Android directly to the NAND partition via MAGLDR; so when you reboot, it boots directly into Android now.
                        All you need to know is at xda-developers"dot"com

                          Well I've been using Android more and more on my HD2... Been using it as my main UI everyday now... Haven't used WM in about a month now on a daily basis... Only use WM to keep some apps up to date... Now that Pocket Informant has released an PIM app for Android, I now use Android daily now... I used Pocket Informant on WM..... Waiting for better Android Tabs to hit in 2011... I think they will offer more than phones (like better and bigger screens, HD options, 3D?, more ext storage, etc).... I would like a 7" Tablet (that's a good size for portability)... Will hold onto my HD2 as well for now... Want get a new phone til 2012....

                            or after you unzipped, did you put the folder named "Android" and all Its contents on the root of the SD card? (which is correct)

                            are you trying to use a small 2gb SD, which is too small for android to install all It's components and still have (more than 10%)free space need on the SD for it to run.
                            remember Android will be using you SD as if it was an internal ROM. so the higher the class of your SD And the more free space it has the better Android will run.

                              Hi Anthony,
                              This is my first time trying Android so this may be a newbie problem but I don't think so.

                              When i try to boot Android I don't get any error but this just stays on the screen in very small writing. My Rom size is 512k

                              HaRET boot
                              Shutting down hardware
                              Turning off MMU
                              In preloader
                              PSR=600000df
                              Tags relocated to 0x11800100 (size 0x00000f00)
                              Kernel relocated to 0x11808000 (size 0x00211190)
                              Initrd relocated to 0x12200000 (size 0x001d0210)
                              Jumping to Kernel (cuStom)...

                              I have even left it 20 minutes or more, but screen is blank.
                              Also, the other details of my HTC HD2 are :
                              ROM ver: 3.14.720.3
                              Radio ver : 2.15.50.14
                              protocol ver: 15.42.50.11U
                              Also, i had formated the SD card before putting Andriod folder.
                              Putting andriod folder in root of SD card.
                              Running clrcad & than haret. Using the MDJ Froyo HD 4.4 andriod
                              pls help.

                                i bought this phone and it is really amazing phone
                                i compared it with my friend's Iphone4 and it won
                                i dont use my PC as usual since i had it .

                                  when you use HSPL you have a outdated modified SPL. the SPL for the 3.14 ROMs are a V3.XX HSPL3 is based on a V2.XX SPL.
                                  if you don't do it the correct way, which is to remove HSPL, get 3.14 GCC version and install it then use SSPL to which the OS only to the english version. there is no point of the upgrade.
                                  do it that way or just stay with 1.66 and update the radio version only. (so is there a 3.14 GCC version or not?)

                                    Lawl the box should come with a label saying "BOOTS ANY OS" . Seriously winmo, Android, now on NAND too, wp7 coming really soon, ubuntu and now meeGo porting started.
                                    Wow the HD2 became the king of OSes. All OSes cannot resist the HD2. ;D

                                        I bought my HD2 from Abu Dhabi,so I gues it was made for GCC countries. But I don't need the arabic language on it. That why I downloaded the WWE ROM.
