I can pu... morewell sorry i dnt know abt the spl thing that which one is that i havefound the ROM on htcpedia.com, yes i have first tryied getting official ROM from the HTC web site which i could not when i enter the S/N it says the software is not suitable for your device ....
and yes my S/N is HT9CPNW01666

I really like that one... There use to be two dev who made the ROM for it... Now it's only one (Mdjay)... He's planning an update at some point? But said update want be available til the camera issue is fixed... I've been using that UI since it came out...

I can put Android on my HD2 with the Original 3.14 ROM and SPL?
If this is the case, give me the link to the Android you are using now, so I can give it a try over the weekend.
i have not tried android as yet because i did not want to put on a cooked WinMo first.

But what method did you use to install the 1.43 ROM? That information is important because I need to know if you have your original SPL, a new SPL or a HSPL and what version of which is on your phone. Because depending on that, if you install the latest ROM which is 3.14 you are going to lose a lot of ROM space if you have the wrong SPL. Or it may not install at all.
By the way what country HTC site did you try your S/N on to get an original ROM?
Note: I don’t think you can use Android on this phone with an Original ROM. you have to install a cooked ROM. so if that is the way you want to go you should talk to High Tech or Transformer

there is something you are not tel... moreok detail is tht when i got the phone it had 1.66 something i reset the phone back to factory settings and after tht i was going through the applications in phone one was named as value added application i opened it it showed arabic localisation is available un knowingly i i tapped it n it made my phone go in arabic mode which i cud nt get red off even after hard reset so i started searching for a new ROM and finally i found 1.44 in english which i installed
now phone is in english and working but i want the latest windows ROM in it along with the android 2.2 the latest one ....

there is something you are not telling me, about what you did to the phone because under normal conditions you can't go from a 1.66 back down to a 1.43 ROM.
so give more details about what you did before you get advice that "brick" your phone.

well previously it was some 1.66 rom but now i have installed ROM 1.43.405.1 which is very old but the thing is i'm not able to find any newer rom could u guid me on tht Anthony ....

m new with this phone i bought it second hand there was some issue with the softwares and all so i hard rest my device but now the issue is tht its in arabic language and i want it in english its totally use less for me n im totally unable to download the files for this phone from htc support some please give me the solution to change its language into engish plzzzz .......

If found this neat trick that works on some web pages that have video.
1. Launch the page that has the video you want to see in Opera.
2. Then go to the address bar and replace the www with m.
3. If it worked the mobile version of the page should load.
4. Just tap the video on that new page and I will start in the streaming media player.

But skype no longer makes a windows mobile version. So you will have to get the installation from a friend if you don’t have it already.
