anonymouz, 08 Nov 2010hi guys..!got my new hd2..!and got a big big big probs here... moreif you got a phone with a 1.66 or newer ROM there are no bug to fix. know bugs are in the older ROMs. but there are settings you are going to want to change and programs you will want to install that will improve the user experience in the long run, depending on how you use the phone.

Hi anthony please suggest me any website or post any link where i can download skyfire.because by mistake i have deleted old one now i have diwnloaded from freeware and when ever i tried to use it it says due to high demand we cannot provide you servis at this time.

One important question please, because I'm about to buy one this week. Can HTC HD2 open Compiled HTML files (.CHM) by default or do I need to install ebook readers and such. Many thanks!

Just want to update you that now in india, H... morenever used Android and i don't plan to put it on my HD2 any time soon. I'm happy with my HD2 the way it is (with my customizing).
my views on the future of WinMo, Android & symbian....
WinMo has no future. Microsoft has put there focus on the WinPhone OS now (that is the future if you thinking about a OS from Microsoft), so WinMo will become nothing more than a memory in about a year or 2. I'm looking out to see what the next release of WinPhone will have to offer. Because as a HD2 owner this first release of WinPhone is not enough for me to consider it a upgrade.
Symbian is dead as a real smart phones. But It's still in the game because not every on is interested in a real smart phone.
Android looks like It's coming out with a new version almost every month, and It's only getting better.

Just want to update you that now in india, HTC has released the new version officially as:
ROM Version: 3.14.720.3
So, I hope it will work on my mobile and need not to go with alternate way. But thanks a lot for you great support. I was away for few days, and hd2 was dumped. Now seems, it will have a new life. Have you tried android on HD2? Is it worth it as compared to HD2 original s/w? whats the future of winmo, android & symbian as per you?

Hi ! Does anyone knows if there is possible to make the Boot Menu to appear before the Windows Mobile boots up ?.. because it's annoying to always start Windows Mobile & then run Haret to start Android ?.. like in this video with Nokia N900... look here, it's so cool ! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OC9Cie2xauk

Hi,
HD2 does not display Japanese language keyboard but our travel destinations are in english eg. mt. fuji, aomori, kyoto, osaka and yogohama etc...
Google map is worked well via local WIFI and most destinations are in english. Petrol stations in japan are highlighted as well on google map.
The only setback of google map is 3D car navigation, unlike we initiate Telenav in New York. It works wonder and I love it very much with voice guide.
However, Telenav is not available in overseas.
Hence, we have to look for other applications inevitably on hd2 on overseas travelling.
Which app is suitable for japan travelling other than Telenav ?

Hi,
We travel Japan next month. Which HTC HD2 car navigator is useful in Japan ? Igo Primo? Bing? TomTom? Copilat? or others where it is available for HTC HD2?
We intend to subscribe Softbank network in Tokyo. How much do they charge on car navigation on HTC HD2 ?
Telenav is unable to be used in overseas?
Is the existing Googel map is good enough for car navigation in Japan?
