I have seen this phone give trouble the charge when I use the USB cable from a old black berry or cheap generic chargers that can’t push the correct voltage.

I tried To flash the new offical 3.14 ROM fro... morehey Jack...i was used to b like that.. the only reason causing that is that your hd2 isnt uk type....in order to solve that, you need to get your own hd2 official rom (i mean the official rom from your region). download from htc site of your region of course, extract it, copy RUU_signed.nbh to the root of your sd card, rename it to LEOIMG.nbh...however, this way brings you back to the official rom (may be 1.66).
if you want to upgrade it to the latest, i mean the uk one, u need to first install hspl, then upgrade through your own computer synced with your phone...

just power off the phone and leave3 it pluged it so you don't kill the battery. and i'll help later.
what rom were you comming from? what spl or hspl where you comming from? what what your oringinal rom?

Hi Anthony sorry to ask this stupid question as you suggested me to hard reset my ROM to get rid of memory problemz probably 6 days ago my Question is if i will do hard reset i mite lost my some stuff like Swap files which i never installed on phone memory but these are still on phone memory so if i do hard reset would i able to use them or would just simply lost them like my gameing stuff e.t.c and another thing i have never installed any thing on my phone memory but i have got only 16mb fee memory.

Hi Anthony,
I tried To flash the new offical 3.14 ROM from the Sd card,after following the istructiona on the screen it suddenly stops and gives me an ERROR massage,now it is stuck on the 3 colored screen with a SPL 3.03.
I tied to reinstall the HSPL3 doesnt work,gives me ERROR,whatever I do doesnt work,its just stuck there,any suggestions,or you think that i have screwed it up for good!!.
Now he shows me a triangle saying,SOFTWARE UPDATE FAILED PLEASE TRY AGAIN.

Nothing is wrong with your ... moreHi Anthony, Thanks man. But i already tried taking out the battery and restoring in. But didn't work. I also tried charging the phone, but you know what, whenever i put it on charging, it just starts automatically and keeps on rebooting without starting fully. And when connected with charger, the led doesn't lit up.
I m now trying to charge the battery separately without keeping it inside the phone. Do i have any other option?

go to htcpedia web site and become a member.
click on the apps tab
click on ROM from side menu
click on leo as your phone.
go to page 12 and download the english ROM

the first UK ROM also SPL 1.42
try getting that ROM on, the same leoimg way. and if that works, then you can just update to 3.14 the normal way.
but first just see if that ROM gives you the same error.

you may have to become a member and log in, in order to be able to download the ROM.

in the pass i would say use HSPL to get around the ID.
it will work here but now the 3.14ROM has a newer SPL than what HSPL3 is based on. so doing it that way will put you at some disadvantage. so I'll leave that as a dead last option.

I seems to have some information about the problem; only if you can get me out of it some how!
I tryed updating through RUU 3.14 downloaded from UK site.
It says : Error [294]: Invalid Vendor ID.
It must have to do with some localisation for INDIA etc.
Please read my other post also.

Last try i am doing by removing this file created during formatting in the hd2.
Well, the result is same, and yes, it says "00028002 Not Allow", and not "00028002 Not Allowed"
any other way u want me to do this now??
am sure you will have more ways!!
