all I'm looking for now is a data auto disconnecter that actually works 100% of the time and is stable.
can't seem to find one that does both lol.
actually found a tweak that makes call recording bi-directional, but only using it 2days now, so I can't say as yet if it meets my standard of stable.

I would like a phone with connectivity specs like that of Nokia N8 or E72 but also very much interested in the best media player for songs and movies since i travel a lot.
Don't mind any brand/model.

I am writing now on hd2 android froyo and have both wm cynogen rom and cynogen froyo rom running and can always switch between them. My x10 is gonna have a long rest now. Hd2 Power!

Honestly, I feel quite disaapointed with this HD2 simply because the rate at which it hangs, reboths and shut on its own accord even in the midst of a call or other activities is unprecedented. I have shut down on its usage, bought an extended talktime battery. To worsen the frustration, it has refused to come up again even with both batteries. The charging amber light no longer comes on no matter how long its been on power. Should I send this back to the US or just dump it here in Nigeria after spending so much this state of the art phone?

1. My Device>windows>rings.
2. My Device>Music
3. My Device>My Documents> My Ringtones.
(I did, gave me more free space on my ROM)
If you don’t want to delete the files but you just don’t want them to show up when you are playing all your music. You will have to make a play list and call it e.g. (all your music)
These are the steps…
1. tap Library>Playlists>Menu>New, and give it a name you like, then tap done.
2. tap that playlist>addsongs>all songs>menu>select all songs, then go through the list and deselect the songs you don’t want to play as part of “your all songs” > tap done.
Now that you have a new playlist with just what you want to play, just pick it and tap any song in the list and it will load to now playing and start to play.
You can make as many playlist as you want and set them up how you want and you can even go back in and edit them any time you like.

Hi AnthonynI have a problem with the HTC Sense music player ,all of the HTC Ringtones are showing in the music Tab,is there a way to remove them,I cant seem to locate them on my SD card,thanks for the help you can give,Regards.

TG, 17 Sep 2010I the worst Phone, it likes to hang once SMS coming...this is what makes most newness to windows mobile crash this phone...
if your ROM is older than 1.66 you have to update it.
if you have less then 10%/50mb of free space on internal memory, you need to clean up your storage. (need space for OS to make swap files)

HD2 is the worst phone. The phone suddenly hang (intermittent). Don't know the reason, although I have sent to HTC for service (they change the motherboard) but still hanging. I don't receive any calls today (from morning till afternoon), then I check it, oh my god it's hanging again. It's stupid HTC HD2 WinMobile.

the cons outweighs the pros. OS is very unstable. features might be the best only if you can use them without hanging. too many issues to consider before buying.

Eddie, 16 Sep 2010Hi fellow HD2 users. A friend of mine is lending me his HD2... morebecause the phone is running Windows mobile, changing the language is not as easy as changing a setting. you have to hack the SPL (using HSPL3 is best) then replace the ROM with an english one. I can help you do it but you have to get your friends permission because its going to void the warranty and factory reset the phone.
