Obeche, 25 Aug 2010That would be nice. I'll like to hear your view/opinion.Remember to use static wallpaper. I believe it helps with reducing freezing occurance.

          Can't really say the sense is perfect. But it's a great build all the same.
          Better experienced then explained! Very FAST with clear voice calls. Also freezing is also extinct.

Good news ... moreI got an offer for my hd2…..about $440 which I think is good price for my 7 months old phone(still looks new…not even a hair scratch). I am in fix now & wondering whether to sell or not. I used to hate this phone but for the last 2-3 weeks I'm in love with this phone. Freezing has become a thing of the past after I installed cleanex rom…..everything is smooth, stable & good battery life. And I see no other phone in the market at this moment which can really replace my hd2. Iphone4 is the only thing I can think of. Never owned iphone but played a lot with my cousin's 3gs. Its good & tempting. Lets see……!

                  Good & bad news for you all in one.

                  Good news is I have had that problem many times before when I just got my phone and it was running the buggy 1.43 ROM, so I know how to get back into the phone.
                  The bad new is you have to do a hard reset, so all data you didn’t backup that was on internal memory is going to be lost. So I hope you were using “My phone, PIMBack or outlook” to sync your data.

                  This is what you have to do..
                  1. Power off the phone.
                  2. Then hold the volume up and down key at the same time. (I find it best to do this with the battery cover off)
                  3. Give the power key a quick press while still holding both volumes keys.
                  4. Release the volume keys as soon as you get the gray screen with the blue writing.
                  5. Follow the onscreen instructions.

                  Note:
                  A. If you get the screen with the 4 color bands and it is not going to the gay screen, it means your hand slipped off one of the volume keys too soon. You will have to remove & insert the battery and try again.

                  B. When you get the phone back up and running I would advise you to update your ROM if it is older than 1.66

                    Have you guys tried any of schubCRAFT Android versions?
                    Try the schubCRAFT_v1.4d and compare with Mattc 1.6b build.
                    For me the schubCRAFT build is closest to daily use in HD2 as the default WM 6.5
                    Kudos to those XDA DEVS!!!

                      pp, 25 Aug 2010i'm using rom 1.66 with hspl and radio 2.12.... ok..trying... moreOK. I'M now using the mattc 1.6b build . Every thing look good! will info the battery states . For now camera 5mp and camcorder can b use. Processor be overclock with SetCPU app up to 1.2 mhz ! good for daily use now ! thanks to the XDA DEV.. Now our HTC HD2 Can turn to EVO 4G any time we want ha ha ..

                            i installed the swype keyboard on my HD2 and it asked for a reboot.after i did that the 5 digit code that was my lock code doesnt work and i cant unlock the device.it says wrong code :(

                                About a week ago I had posted a hep request on a weird experience I was having on my HD2 running Android (shubCRAFT versions). The issue was:
                                - GPRS: I can connect and use the internet
                                - WIFI: I can connect (I see the connection sign on the phone) but unable to use any internet dependent application.
                                Meanwhile, I have never had this kind of problem either running WM Roms or other ported Android editions for HD2.
                                I refused to give up.

                                Well surprisingly my problem was just always with me right there in the house - the WIRELESS ROUTER. I use NETGEAR wireless router.
                                So making some googling I came up with an idea to login to my router configuration and checkout my setting. I simply changed the MODE Setting from B&G to AUTO. And there you have it! Problem solved.

                                I now use the internet excellently on my HD2 running any shubCRAFT Android version.

                                Thought I should post this too...... in case someone else experiences it.

                                      when it comes to browsing da internet..dis phone is da best very fast...it also has a desktop mode of browsing...hmmmmm i love it....

                                        Hey, what's wrong with the Peep app today? Everytime I try to update my twitter feed it relaunches Sense. I see that the issue has been raised by other HD2 owners on XDA-Developers.com so hope there will be a quick fix to this fault
                                        :-(
