Tank, 06 Jun 2010I have installed ituse the search in Omarket to find and install a program called "changescreen" it will add auto rotate to everything on the phone.
and for the things you don't want to auto rotate, you can add them to the exceptions list.
note: Omarket is a app that shows every thing you can download from the same site you download Omarket from in a phone friendly way. so save the link in your favorate on your PC if you want to download from your PC.

the next is "Omarket" makes micosoft marketplace look like a crappy yard sale.
get it, install it on the SD then I will give you more programs to find with it.

Anthony, 06 Jun 2010remember you can see two types of internal memory on the ph... morei have quite some space on my fone. storage/ROM is 117mb and program/RAM is 175mb. I would prefer to install from my pc but installing from the fone is also fine.

Tank, 05 Jun 2010Sorry Anthony. i was away all day. the memory on my device ... moreremember you can see two types of internal memory on the phone. storage/ROM and program/RAM.
If you have over 100mbps of ROM free on your version of the HD2, that's great. you only need to start deleting crap when free space drops below 40mb.
I'll give you a short run down on installing programs and then it's on to some of the "most have" in my opinion.
The HD2 can install programs of 3 file types.
.msi
.cab
.exe
.msi must be installed from your PC with the phone connected in sync mode.
.cab should be copied to the SD card (to avoid wasting space on the internal drive) and installed from there.
By default it will still install to the internal drive unless you pick the storage card, when given the option during the installation.
.exe installs from the PC or the Phone depending on how the programmer wants it. So for that one you will just have to try and see which way works.
For most installations, when prompted you should pick to install them to your memory card. Only drivers or program that need to start when the phone is starting have to be on internal memory, so you don't get an error when the phone tries to access that driver/program and you don't have your SD in or you are connected to your PC in drive mode.
Note: when connected in drive mode only the PC/MAC can see the SD, the phone stops seeing it during that time.
now I would give you my list of "most have" but I need to know if you would like to download programs for your phone from your phone, or do you prefer to download from your PC?

BTW...is this cab for reading chinese? Do you have any other cab ...that allow to write also? My stock rom is singapore version so it has built in. But I like "energy rom" ....and it does not support chinese input. Thanks
