My HD2 died and it won't turn on anymore. Any suggestions or should I call my provider and exchange it for a new phone?

I think the old T-mobile UK ROM is one of them like that.

Htc has an internal application called very suggestive "YouTube". Search for it in "Programs". Otherwise you can't watch youtube via Opera or Internet Explorer browsers....

Well I've been using the Cell Series ROM v1 for a few days now... I must say it's working very nicely... The eye candy is very nice... It's skinned all the way through (every screen)... Loving the Voice Command app built in to ROM... Use that daily... The only thing I noticed neg about the ROM is the battery usage... In standby it drains about 6% per hour... So you will get about 4 to 6 hours usage with heavy usage???? This is about the best ROM I've used to date... It's WORTH a try if you like a skinned ROM...
Will post more as I use it more.....

So if you read or delete mail that is kept on the phone internal storage, it will only update the network the next time you do a send and receive.

you have to buy the US version
or open your own phone Network servise to use the 900 or 2100 3G band (that is what the none US versions are running on)
other than that your are stuck with 2G

There are so many reasons it may not work.
1. It could be disable in your Bluetooth settings on the phone (settings>menu>All Settings>Bluetooth>) go to the tab on the right and go in advance.
2. The Bluetooth on the PC may be set not to accept OBEX until you do a pair.
3. Sharing may be off on the Bluetooth settings on the PC
4. The Bluetooth on your PC does not support OBEX
The list of things can go on and on
Make life easy....
If it is your PC install WMDC or ActiveSync (depends on your OS) and hook the phone to the PC in sync mode with the USB and set it up.
Once it is set up disconnect and find active sync on the phone, go into menu and pick “Connect via Bluetooth” and set that up.
Now whenever you need a blue tooth connection to your PC, you just have to do it right there in active sync on the phone. (The phone will show up on your PC in “My Computer”) and from there you can just drag and drop files in both directions.
Note: when you want to pair your PC from your phone you have to make sure your PC is set as visible in its Bluetooth settings.

To all the people that can’t play YouTube...
Youtube will not play in the default web browsers.
The unlocked international version of the phone comes with the YouTube player app
The US version comes with the YouTube player app.
If you have a provider phone, go to the HTC site and pick the country of the provider and see if there is a new provider ROM for you. Maybe the new ROM will have the YouTube player app.
Other than that, you will have to install Omarket and find a generic YouTube player or hack your phone and put on an unlocked international version ROM to get the HTC YouTube player.
You can also use the skyfire browser but when you go to YouTube and you click a video you may see a pop up that says your browser is not supported.. You have to find the link that say “continue to the video” and it will play.

To all the people that I was telling about Omarket and I gave the link...
Some of you got an error when it was time to install; I now know why that happened....
When you go to download it, you have 2 options from where to download. One of the options has a corrupted file that reads about 65kb, try the next option the full file is 122kb

First of thanks to Anthony this google transistor is one hell of a great application specially using with swype, which im using now to type this post.
My suggestions to those sceptical is that this is in my opinion one of the best devices I've ever owned with a little maintainance from time to time.
I think the WPH7 will be a Windows Iphone since in my opinion will lack the very detailed settings of current version which for the inexperienced people is very difficult to deal with .

I get this error message .......(The OBEX service on the destination computer or device is not available or ready for the transfer. Please try again. If you still cannot complete the transfer, read the manufacturer's documentation that came with the device)every time i try to send a file through USB from my pc to my H2 .
