Anonymous, 24 Jun 2012can i install skype on it?and will skype works on it ?Yes it will work
But skype has stopped supporting windows mobile favouring the new OS Windows Phone.
So if you want the installation you have to get it from a windows mobile user that already has it.

Because I only tried it once and decided the OS was too limited for my every day use. Me putting WP7 on my HD2 was my way to try the os before I got a new phone. But I didn’t like it so thats why im still here for now. lol

                  1. Use 7zip to extract the files form your stock ROM on your PC
                  2. find the file named (RUU_signed.nbh) and rename it leoimg.nbh
                  3. Copy the renamed file to the root of your SD card.
                  4. Restart your phone while holding the volume down key.
                  5. Then follow the on screen instructions.

The rom and SPL will be installed from the SD (no PC connection needed) so be sure to have enough battery power

remember to do a task 29 after the above is done to truly clean your ROM chip
and then install the stock rom again. this is the only true way to remove all buggy files from cooked roms.

Shokaman, 21 Jun 2012Hi Anthony. I installed HSPL 2.08 and MAGLDR 1.13 on my HD2... moreIf you have a copy of your original HTC HD2 ROM/or its update.
The easy way is just to start over from scratch.
                      1. Install the original ROM.
                      2. Remove HSPL
                      3. Do a task29 to totally clear your ROM chip
                      4. Install the original ROM.
Now that your phone is back to factory state. Try installing the WP7 like a first time use once again.

If you need more details on any of the steps mentioned above let me know.

Btw. I been reading up on WP8 and I think that is what I’m going for in a new phone. So I’m going to be saying good bye to you guys/gals on this page when that time comes later this year/ early next year.

Hi Anthony. I installed HSPL 2.08 and MAGLDR 1.13 on my HD2 and then flashed WP7 ROM ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1510444 ). Then I got another version ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=21988711&postcount=1876 ) and installed this one over the previous one. But turned out that in this version most of the previous functions doesn't work, so i tried to get back to the previous version using MAGLDR. But now I can't get most of the functions to work on my phone. Also, after reinstalling (I used *10. Services, 4. UseLast24NAND
                        * 10. Services, 5. ClearSD MDR) couple of times, now I am getting a Low Storage Space message after I do hard reset.
Could you pls help me with this? How can I do a fresh installation of WP7 (plz suggest the best available version) on internal memory as default OS?

[deleted post]That sticks together logo shows only on the t-mobile version.
If your HD2 is not the US T-mobile version I would say
Install HSPL 4 and then replace the crap T-mobile ROM with the unlocked UK HTC HD2 3.14 ROM

Still love my HD2, which I bought almost 3 years ago (!) although I actuallly use an iPhone 4s for daily use.
I've kept the HD2 which now runs a NAND version of Android ICS which my kids use around the house as a mini tablet, given that it as no SIM card, and they use it more than my iPad 2.
This fantastic handset is almost future proof - what a bargain, and delight, it's proven to have been.

[deleted post]I replied and gave the reasons why in a longer post and that post was removed.
So this is the short version.
You can’t put Android on the lumia as it was built for the Windows Phone. OS
You can put Android on the HD2 which comes with the Windows Mobile OS but it is a single core phone.
