And his solution does not work for “my location”. And I don’t have to edit my city because if I set that as the clock and not use my location every thing is fine.
The second link it about updating daylight savings time. No help to me. What is need is to change the time zone all together that my location is picking.

just don’t edit the same thing in both of them. (Use BsB as your main editor and use HD.. to edit the things BsB does not have.) For my need I no longer use HD Tweaks. Just BsB and some other .cab mods

Locks and all the other crap including the copy of the SPL are built into the ROM.
Bye changing the ROM you get what is in the ROM you change to.
People do this not just to unlock a lock phone. Some do it because they need to change language. Some do it to get and upgrade that is not yet out in there version. And some do it to use cooked ROMs.
There is more than one way to do an unauthorized change of ROM…
I the order they came out
1. Gold card
2. SSPL
3. HSPL
4. SD CARD
Gold card is the most complicated.
SSPL no longer recommended for cooked ROM but will work just fine for HTC ROM’s
HSPL is the least complicated way to bypass the digital signature but is also the way that does not temporally alter the SPL (but is can be undone the SD CARD way.
SD CARD is the most dangerous way (if use a badly formatted card or corrupted files.)
I know this like the back of my hand….. sh-it, I never saw that spot there before……
All jokes aside, all your friend need to do when he gets the phone is install HSPL come here. To get an s/n and he/she can download the unlocked HTC 1.66 ROM from the UK HTC site to use on his phone.

i know how to flash the phone using hspl and then installing a custom rom .
a friend is is buying a hd2 locked to virgin mobile uk .
if i install hspl and then install a custom rom , it should get automatically unlocked . right ???
no need for any gold card procedure or any other unlock code which is sold on many websites !!.
please be very sure on this cause if he buys the phone and it does not unlock after flashing the rom , he will be stuck with phone sim locked to virgin uk.
and all his money will go waste .
the phone is sealed and brand new .

See lots of Nicks here. I am the real one. …..now HD2 user. You are right my fren Nick…..I do also miss iphone's UI which I think is the best among touch screen. Hd2 screen is crazy..over sensative despite all those tweaks. Been using it about 2 months …I still can not get to click the things I wanted to... without 2 & 3 attempts. Sometimes I think hd2 screen is not capacitive…..i still have iphone and compare it to my hd2. You can feel that man! Iphone's glass surface is strong & robust…..looks like unbreakable. Regarding size of screen…I do not agree with you. I think all touch screen phone should be the size of hd2. Bigger the better. This is one of the reason I bought hd2. Apart from size, I thought it will help in my work as I use excel a lot but very disappointed with that. MS office works well in hd2 but it does not get me wat I want. I can not open excel file with pictures inserted in it…..so its useless for me. One more thing, it hangs at least 1-2 times a week. Battery life is great if you consider phone of this size. Multi tasking is great.
In the end, this is not iphone and still not simple & smooth as iphone. To be honest, I am enjoying my newly found toy. They both are good in their respective field. Hardware-wise hd2 is the beast and built quality is superb. Its simply joy to hold this monster. But there are some hiccups inside…mainly software related. If the new iphone due to release on June/July…..will have screen size of hd2…..I am sold. I will be back with iphone again…..Till then I will be using hd2.

i have a 40 files and i need to select and copy only 25 files to another folder then how can i do it?

Go to “photos ... moreok this is for deleting files but in the file manager i can not even select files, how can i select some specific files to copy them to an other folder or from the device to the memory card? should i do it one by one or i have another way but not selecting all files.
