does anyone know if t-mobile htc hd2 is getting wm7 update or not ( not the unlocked version )? and if it not do they mean that u hhave to pay to get it or what? thank u in advance

omz, 15 Mar 2010hi guys, im considering purchasing either a HD2 or an omnia... moreI had both of the phone O2 and HD2 . my opinion if u want all in one phone.tv out.video call.etc but u had to suffer very low ram memory ! after booth up u get only 70-80 mb..no more than 5 apps u can run.u can live with it go for O2. If u want to do heavy use like using 5-10 at one time.and bigger screen. go for HD2 cuz it had 576 of RAM !

I found the volume sound on this phone to be very loud which is good cause all my previous phones i had to turn up fully to hear anything, this phone i have to turn down. :o)

and i am having i problem only.
i was streaming video de other day and it was fine and i have installed the c0okie tab. after that whenever i try to stream videos it shows has flash 9 (like an icon of flash reader)
is this realeted or something that i need to do?

High Tech, 15 Mar 2010No. It's still pretty FAST.... I still have around 60MB fre... moreAlso all my big files are stored on my microSD card. Like movies, music, doc's, etc... Access to those items are fast as well..... No locks or freezes so far... I do a soft reset of my device about once a week... That keeps it running smooth..... I've had it freeze a couple times when I leave wifi on and I get my gmail messages and I have the device in sleep mode. Sometimes I have to do a soft reset... That's the only thing I've noticed about Miri Rom....

I'm using Miri Rom v7. I think v9 is out now....... I want to make my HD2 mirrior my laptop. After all you do have a mini computer in your hands..............

i had my hd2 for 3 mounths without any screen propector.
i went from a nokia 5800 to a nokia n97 and and this screen is the best so far! not even one scratch! amazing! super happy! very resistent ;)

omz, 15 Mar 2010hi guys, im considering purchasing either a HD2 or an omnia... moreObviously, since they are both running the same OS, if u can afford it, you should definitely go for the hd2. better in virtually every aspect. bigger screen. faster processor. more RAM. Capacitive(hd2) screen over resistive(omnia). only thing omnia might have that is btr, is the AMOLED display instead of tft like hd2

I had the same problem with my music player on the hd2. I copied over some more music files 2 days ago and everytime i launched the music player i got the audio manager message.
It then got to a stage that a re-boot could not fix the issue yet, it was just freezing and no longer showing the error message itself. I hate using the windows media player. Anyhoo, on searching on the net, i've found that apparently it does that due to a single mp3 file it cannot play. I have since removed the music i copied over and it seems to be working fine again... not sure if thats a good thing as i do want to put music on my hd2 in the future... hope this is of some help!

I own a MacBook and an iPod touch. I can't decide whether should i get the iphone 3gs or the htc hd2. My friends were like telling me since i own a macbook,make it easier, just get myself an iphone.
One of the main reasons i don't want to get an iphone is because of the battery life. On my average usage, i got to charge my ipod touch 2-3 times a day...I can't imagine if i got myself an iphone. My work involves me moving from places to places.
Anyone got a suggestion?

I love the competion going on between HTC,Samsung,LG & Sony Ericsson, we always have a wide choice of feature-rich & latest technology for the phones we wanted. Nokia are you still there? Apple & Blackberry you're always outdated, wake up and hope your high prices is good enough for your phones.

Hi, I have uploaded music on memory card but these songs are not showed up in music tab in main menu. I have to go to media player to see them... Pls suggest.
