Tallie, 13 Feb 2010Hey guys,im getting my hd2 tomorrow,just want to know if it... more16hours? Where you get that from? Doing that over and over is a sure way to damage the cells in the battery from overcharging.
Just charge it till the charging indicator light on the phone turns from orange to green.
And to condition the cells in the battery you will what to run the phone till the battery is dead and give it a full charge again (you should do this at least 3 times in a row, when you just get the phone.) after that try to run the battery till dead and give a full charge at least once a month.
This will insure you get the most talk time out of the battery and give you the longest battery cell life.

Liverpool, 13 Feb 2010indeed nice cabs,,i liked them ,,but didnt notice any chang... moreBefore you installed the music...cab. if you had your back ground picture showing you would still see a dark band right across the screen in the area of the play keys & track info. That .cab took the band off. (i will give that clock cab a try just to see what it looks like)
Touch X Taskmanager.cab I use to use this to put back the old HD task manager.
20/12 -09 Touch X longpress sendkey Alt tab.cab this is a very good way to switch between apps when you have more than one open.
30/11 -09 Bluetooth Toggle i use this as well, can’t say if it will be of any use to you.
08/12 -09 Touch X Powerbutton actionscreen ver 1.2.cab i used to use this but now that i have cookie.... i took it off.
19/01 -10 Touch X long press send key taskmanager ArkSwitch_v1_0_1.CAB if you want a task switcher and manager in one this is good (i don’t really like the look so i use the “Alt tab” task switcher i mentioned above and i put a quick link to the win Mo task manager in my cookie.... for when i need to shot down an app.)
29/01 -10 Touch_X_100%Battery_for_1.66.cab much better than just having the 4 bars.
I used to use more but then BsB tweaks 1.6 came out and it was already doing alot of the thing you see in the .CAB’s at that link, so that’s why my list got so short. But feel free to try other things there. My likes and yours may be different.

hey anthony, thanks for the help but i've alrdy been using both options with "smallest" lol. just to be clear u know what i mean.. when ur at a msg, u know the white area with "tap to compose text" ? is there a way to make that area smaller? because once i wanna enter txt, with the huge keyboard n the huge text entry area, i can barely see the msg i want to reply to. so i have to tap outside to read it again before tapping back to txt entry. this is really inconvenient when im replying to long msgs. lol.
i would like somethin like the old or default windows mobile threaded sms view. the white txt entry area was pretty small, which meant we could still see at least most of the previous msg.

Hi Anthony,
1) i used to access my gmail a/c using google imap client and now i have set it up to access it using outlook on the phone .
2) the calender is also synced to google calender .
3) but the contact option is greyed out . is there any way to sync contacts with google .
4) also ive noticed that if i access my emails using outlook. anything i delete on the phone gets deleted on my gmail a/c as well . Any way keep the emails on the gmail a/c even when i delete them from my phone ?

Anthony, 13 Feb 2010Bryan.... i gave you a simple solution to a very common pro... morehi anthony, i am sorry i can't seem to find your suggestion. i have to use the password to enable me to use exchange server sync for my company email. i have now deleted exchange email from activesync and it still keeps asking for the password. I have set it only to check every 24 hours but that doesn't make any difference.

Hi, Anthony.
Thanks for your prevous advice in assisting me to explore the WM as a new user. Here I had encountered some new problems.
I had connected my HTC HD2 to my wireless internet connection at home. However, I had problems with going into Youtube, IE and Opera browser. Do I need to work on any setting or adjustment on the phone?

And you should do it from 2 pleases on this phone.
First is the font for the whole phone. In my opinion it’s too big.
1. Got to the settings tab.
2. Tap Personalize.
3. Tap font.
4. Set it to the smallest and then tap “ok”
After that in my opinion the font for sms is still too big.
1. Open one of the treaded sms you have on the phone
2. Tap “Menu”
3. Tap “Text Size”
4. Set it to “Smaller” or “Smallest” which ever you like. ( I use Smaller)
5. Tap close.
Let me know if it’s more like how you want it.
