Anthony,

I have a problem with my HD2. When I search on Google the results are returned in German and the search button is labelled 'Suche' This only happens when I broswe internet on mobile web, when I use Wi-Fi at home everything is fine and the results are returned in English.

Tried looking on xda-devs but doesn't seem to be definitive solution to this. Have you had this problem and do you know hoe I might fix it?

Im runnint stock ROM (v1.43) on O2

    Just got my hd2 bout 3days ago. Was busy tweaking it n stuff for the first day or so, and i freaking love it. takes a bit of time to get used to the extremely sensitive capacitive screen for typing on the qwerty. but im really happy with it. only small prob is u probably have to charge it everyday, but oh well, charge it when u slp, no worries. 2 thumbs up for the hd2 from me.

                antony,please, i have manage to use jason's s/n to download the upgraded ROM, and i have even downloaded the miri and duttys leo all on my pc, but i don't know where to do from there. and how can i get the SSPL and HSPL.please explain this to me in plain clear english as am new to all this upgrade. and just to say thanks to jason for the s/n.

                      tony,you seem to be the guru with this HD2, am with Tmobile and i can't upgrade, now is there any way i can break my warranty and get this upgrade because am left behind you guy, please ,please help me out here. thanks

                        mg7vw, 12 Feb 2010I want to buy HTC HD2 in Greece but I have read about some ... moreThe pink spot was a software problem and a hotfix/patch has been made and is on the HTC site a long time now. Phone’s with the 1.66 rom don’t need the patch because that rom has all the hotfixes integrated into it.
                        So it realy don’t matter which HD2 you buy when I comes to that problem.

                        What I would tell you is…
                        It would be in your best interest not to buy this phone from a provider or provider branded in order to save money. Because HTC is not making ROM updates for provider ROMs only there factory ROM. and so far it looks like providers like o2 and vodafone selling with old roms 1.43.
                        2 improved ROMs came out for download after that 1.48 & 1.66 for the factory ROM phones and they did not get the download. Leave people with those phones with no choice but to hack there phone to get the update and break there warranty

                          I want to buy HTC HD2 in Greece but I have read about some problem with the camera (pink dot in the photo and video).
                          Can someone tell me if this problem is solved from HTC and which batch numbers come with no problem?

                            You may want to be literal and say a DVD is a digital video Disc.
                            But what do you call that same media when it has no video on it but it has the installation for windows 7 on it? Is it still a digital video? Do you stop calling it a DVD because it’s not video? The rules are bending and you just have to bend with it.

                              It’s like what I said about CD’s
                              Long ago it only refer to one type of media that we had music or computer files on.
                              Now we have DVD and BlueRay. And if you want to be literal they too are CD’s = Compact Disc.
                              Can you say DVD’s and BlueRay are not Compact Disc/CD’s?

                                The rest is being used as internal storage when ever you save a file to the phone and not the memory card. And some cookers are making the free space on the hardware ROM bigger by stripping things out of the software ROM that most of us don’t us. So you get more space to store what ever you like on the phone.

                                Look at the spec again. 448 mb RAM & 512mb ROM
                                We also now that the phone really has 576mb RAM and htc locked 128mb of it.
                                Cookers are unlocking it now with there software ROM’s which give the phone a speed boost

                                    Could you explain with a little more detail what you mean when you say the calendar icon doesn’t react?
                                    Do you mean it’s not showing any entries?
                                    Do you mean when you tap it the full calendar is not opening?
                                    Do you mean you can’t get it to expand to show 3 entries and the call history?
                                    What do you mean? Please explain?

                                      2. Any reason why remove the front camera in HD2 where HD (Predecessor Model) has the front camera and the Video Call Function.

                                      3. What is the roadmap of the HD Family ?? HD3 in progress of release ??
