I 've read many pages here, so my first question as a new owner of htc hd2 is the following one.You've mentioned a gel case once.I understand that this adds something to the dimensions cause its a ltl thicker.Does it affect the "sight", the "view" of the camera?i'd like you to share a link with me with your gel case if possible.Im sorry if i've bothered you with nonsense and i apologize for my english if i've troubled you.

I just read about a new rom from HTC for the HD2.I heard that this rom is to be released for T Mobile in the US. I have seen the video and it has a new tab ie Document tab where you can see all your document and it also rotates like the pictures.
My question is, will there be an update for hd2 users in the UK ??? Is this an update to the Sense interface. Please enlighten me.

But in 2011 it'll be a whole new ball game. Other great phones will be out then. If you need one now. I would go with the HD2. I have it and love it............

More and more is coming out about the two versions of Wnidows Phone 7 (Business and Media Editions). Will start putting money aside for Media 7 version which looks like will be available in 2011 as the business version will be available end of this year. The media version has the HD viewing and recording which I want. So looking forward to those phones in end of 2010 and 2011. Hope HTC comes out with one by 2011??? My HD2 will due and should at least get the Business Edition update this year............
•Windows Phone Seven Business Edition (BE) is targeted at business users and is a "stripped down" version so the OEMs can easily customize. It should also have advanced syncing capabilities and multiple user access (HD2 should get this update in 2010).
•Windows Phone Seven Media Edition (ME) will be quite different from the "BE"—featuring HD video, Zune integration. TV streaming, and will have support for Silverlight, Mediaroom, XBox Live, and other social networking sites (Putting money aside now for this one in 2011).

I brought this phone last year. Dec 2009.
I am really pissed off by this phone.
Disadvantages that I found.
1. No good applications for this phone
2. Windows market place is a joke. Apps are very costly
3. Camera quality is very bad.
4. Video performance is very bad. When playing videos with resolution more than 480*360 its skips lot of frames which makes it barely watable.
5. Cut, copy paste is very difficult because one can't preciously select the text.
6. Mircosoft active sync is buggy. You cannot have more than one calendar like iphone (personal and official).
7. HTC alarm apps doesnot work is alarm.
8. Colors are really frustating. I could see the band of colors in all pictures.
9. I made a wrong decision and got locked with this phone for next 2 years.

HTC killed this phone with such pathetic color screeen. I am very sorry for the people who decided that. Its definatelly not about the cost its maybe because of the fact that people who design such phones are more like diplomna academics other than cell phone users or people who actually use their phone. -1

Anthony, 19 Jan 2010To use facebook text chat you have to install a program cal... moreYep, either FIM or Nimbuzz (www.nimbuzz.com) can do Facebook chat on WinMo.
Nimbuzz does VOIP and Skype, Google, MSN, AIM, etc, etc.
FIM only does Facebook but it can sometimes get some chat history, which is nice.
