but you still need to know...
when ... moreok this may be a stupid question . but i downloaded bsbtweaks 1.5 file on my pc .. its a rar file .. when i extract it i see a " setup.xml" file ,which is a xml file .
do i need to copy that file on my phone and run it ? if not then which file needs to be copied on the phone ?
also autolock needs to be disabled after instaiing bsbtweaks right .. so that when i install s2u2 later i dont have to unlock twice as u mentioned .

but you still need to know...
when you turn on Power saving in BsB Tweaks it realy works. and anlong with your battery lasting longer every thing in the UI moves slower. lol
so you pick which is more important. speed or going the distance?

I hope i am not the only one that sees they all have the same log in tag all 3 of them.... which means its only one person.
People learn this lesson and learn it fast... nothing in life is free you always pay, even if it’s not with money. And paying with money is usually the least painful :).
And next one they always try is to get you to buy from an e-mail address. And when you go to find out about it you have to send cash by “money gram” or something that works like that. You know any where you can’t trace them like a real visa merchant. Some will take your visa info first then tell you there system is down. This is not because they were really going to do the truncation.. Noooo! it was to get your card Info so they can go on a shopping spree at your expense. There site never have and address that you can look up. And by the time you know what hit you the site is down.
Don’t be a fool and run down free things or a price that looks too good to be true because most of the time it is.

NE, 23 Dec 2009Hey everybody.....I'm trying to decide between getting the ... moreI will only say what i don’t like because that list is shorter lol
1. I don’t like that the capacitive screen is hard to use when your hands are wet. Did not have that problem with the Original HD which had a resistive screen... by the way you will have that same problem if you buy the iPhone.
2. I don’t like the physical keys at the bottom of the screen i find it could have been just like the keys on the Original HD
3. I don’t like that it is using micro USB and not mini USB. now i have to walk with my own cable to work, i can’t borrow no more. lol
Mini USB is more common.
4. I don’t like that the power button and the hang-up button is the same button. You know how much people i hang up on... lol
5. I don’t like that i have to use a corded headset to get the radio to work.... but that’s how it is on all phones. Still don’t like it... I’m a stereo Bluetooth user.
and thats it......
The rest is great; i would have no flesh on my fingers after if i was to try to write my like list in detail.

ouch, that sounds pretty complicated and long-winded. but i guess it's the only way ;)
just went through all of this for a re-install on my computer, so i might hang on until the next rom-update comes out before i finally bite the bullet and get this little beauty!

Hey everybody.....I'm trying to decide between getting the HD2 and Iphone 3GS. I would appreciate if any of you HD2 users (who's been using the device for more than 2 weeks) would tell me what they PERSONALLY liked and disliked about it. I want a device in general to be able to run any programs I want it to, with good sound and display, fast and excellent webbing, good camera resolution adn overall EASY to get around with. So please one of you give me your personal pros and cons on HD2, and if you'd generally advise it and any problems you might have faced with it.

Oh wow! Thats all i can say about this phone. I've tested it yesterday and i must say this is a state of the art phone! This phone makes iphone look like a disposable phone, seriously. I just cant tell you how overwhelmed i am by the design, functions, responsivness, the simplicity and elegance... its THE supreme phone on the market right now. The touch screen and scroll are just beyond anything on the market right now. Maybe this phone lacks amoled screen and bigger battery and better camera to be the supreme phone for the next year! Untill they start making quad procesors and HD recording and stuff, this phone remains the king! Its worth every cent and even if it costs ya 500€!

sun, 22 Dec 2009hey, i need some advice on general backup options before a ... moreThis is why I think installed programs are not backed up… Installed programs have reg. entries. You don’t want to restore an old reg on a new rom, that’s asking for problems.
But there is a round about way to back up setting and changes but it will require that you know windows mobile inside out.
I have only done it for google maps so I don’t lose the tags I put on when I do a factory rest. I’ll say how I did it for that and you will use that as a template and go from there.
All programs keep there settings in a file on the phone some where.
So you just need to find the files with the settings you want to keep and back it up.
When you reset the phone and install the program again replace the new settings file with the old settings file and wa la your settings are back.
This is how I did it for Google maps
I use PIM backup to backup my info on phone memory automatically every night to the memory card.
When I was setting it up I highlighted “Custom” and taped
“Options”
“add folders”
And found “GoogleMaps” under “Application Data” and taped “Done
(also added some more custom backups and taped “ok” when I was done.)
Set where on the card you want it to save the backup
Tap schedule and pick when to do the backups and how many old backups to keep.
Validate it
Hit next and the first back was made
Now when I have to reset my phone
I look for the most up-to-date backup and do a restore from in PIM backup
It’s a long process to setup custom backups for every thing so you will only want to do it for the things you really don’t want to lose.

as I said before I disabled it. I wanted to see the HD2 interface when the phone rang.

guys i have this cell for a week now, its a amazing piece of tech. but i m having one problem with the cell that is when it connects to the data network it doesnt disconnect automatically which eates up all the battery life. If any one has the solution plz advise. thanks

hi there*ive been in the shop today - the hd 2 is a real bomb - unfortunatly it is toooo expencive -600€ ive been searching alsaw on e bay - still xpencive- unfortunately -
i will wait a bit and then i will change my garbage xperiax1 for hd2

caller id does not work after s2u2 installation ???

started using HD tweak again along with BsB tweaks.
reason....
when I use BsB Tweaks to block data I would not get my mms but with HD tweak I could block wap but keep mms active.

Google the program names to get the latest version. I'm running 1.5 BsB and 2.21 s2u2 if you find newer ones let me know.
I did not like the caller id in s2u2 so I turned it off in the settings.
I still use the timed password lock from windows mobile I have it set to 30min just disable the auto lock so I don't need the password as soon as the screen goes off. note s2u2 has It's own password lock in its settings leave that off if you using the windows mobile key lock...

also bstweaks is a .cab file .. so installing it does not require some specil procedure right ..
i just copy the file on the storage card and run it ?
pls correct me if i am wrong cause i dont want to screw up my phone ... i am reading thru xda developers forum but there's too much info there
