But this is how HTC does it, t... moreIf you go to the HTC UK site you will see the PRO2 and the diamond2 already got the wm6.5 update but nothing for the HD. But what you say does make business sense, so if they do decide to release it after, it will have to be long after the HD2 gets windows 7 to make shore people still want to buy the HD2 over the original HD. So you are looking at 4th quarter 2010 or later.
As for the cooked roms ... have you tried “Duttys HD Sense 2.1 Holy Grail R0” ?

i am using ipho... moreBasically yes, as you can see it is better in every aspect..
except that this is a window mobile phone. MAC OS is still better for me.
I am also using iphone 3gs. BUT I LOVE THIS HD2 except for its OS.

But this is how HTC does it, they announced that HTC HD won’t get 6.5 official update or upgrade cause they try to push HTC HD2, they did the same with Windows 5 and 6 everyone said that Windows 5 won’t get upgrade to Windows 6 then I received official e-mail from HTC informing that the upgrade is available in their server for month period for all phones, the same thing with HTC HD after when they push HTC HD2 in the market and before releasing Windows 7 they have to upgrade all phones and not just HTC HD otherwise HTC will lose their Credibility, for example HTC HD2 now is released with 6.5 and windows 7 is around the corner if HTC won’t release official upgrade for the HD2 then this is the biggest joke ever and I’m sure the fans will not accept it.
The same thing happened to HTC Magic first they say It won’t get upgrade like HTC Hero but eventually HTC did and the same will happened to HTC Dream it’s all business my friends
Regarding the Cooked ROMs I tried so far more than 6 ROMs for my HD and yet none of them are stable.

I've spent thousands of dollars on phones over the years (I buy unlocked) on different phones. I believe I've found the phone that I will use for years to come (provided I take care of it). The HD2 meets my needs of a phone (speed, edit doc, easy use, thin, great video, music player, conference phone, navigation, email, text, fluid, etc.). Don't need front camera. I really don't see a need at this point to update in the future. With ROM's from developers, I can change the look of the HD2 in the future if needed.
Also have a Omnia II as well. Both phones will serve me well in the future.
I always say "Buy the phone that meets your needs and you can never go wrong"............................

shutup you cant even see 16m colors so why do you guys want that, there is no different, if you compare nokia 5800 with hd2 you cant see which screen who is better so stop screaming about the 16m screens

Everyone but you knows that.
If you want wm6.5 on your HD you will have to use a cooked rom. go in the HD forum and read up on how to do it.
