Anonymous, 27 Oct 2009hey guys i thort this phone dosent do video but im not sure... moreit does take video(VGA not HD video), what it does not have is a secondary camera for video calls (which you can only do on a compatible 3G network even if it did have the secondary camera “I had the HTC TOUCH HD so I know from experience”.)

Last time I waited for it to be in stock to buy my HTC TOUCH HD, I still had to do more waiting because the pre-order people took all of the first batch.

Well - I've been waiting for the Nokia N900 but they just announced that it will not be released until late January 2010 - Not waiting that long! - I'm getting this HTC HD2 instead. Does anyone know when it is due to be released.

all you Iphone lovers shouldn't even be allowed to post on this site. This site is only for real gadget users bot toy lovers! First learn about the incredible combination HTC/WIMO and then write a review and stop posting things like "iphone's screen is better". Better meaning what? It cracks weekly? Lower resolution? Only professional user will appreciate a powerful machine like HTC HD, and kids will always love iphone because they can use it too.

the screen is not AMOLED ok. But obviously, it far better than the apple iphone's screen ;]

A video showing test results of comparison of several mobile phones (touch diamond, iphone 3GS, omnia-I & II etc.) was published here some time ago, and iphone was the winner with an obvious difference against its rivals in display under daylight.
Does anybody know or have an idea on what about HD2 when it comes to display quality under day/sunlight? & is the screen surface scratch-resistant? (probably not, otherwise it would be specified here in specifications)

HTC HD2 will be on the market by November , I am using HTC Diamond2. The screen is considered to be a little small. Therefor I am lookig forward when will HTC HD2 be in the market for sales. I love to have one.
By the way , I am curious on the HTC company name. Any information about the officical long writing of the Company Name.

Simen, 25 Oct 2009I watch comparison color display screen between HTC HD and ... moreThe screen in hd2 is a million times better than the iphone screen. It has 16milion collors, 2.5times the resolution of the iphone screen and it's amoled which produces better colors that your standard lcd.
It only uses 65k of the 16million because windows mobile can't use more than 65k collors.
