This was going to be my next phone, unfortunately, is going to be on T-Mobile here in the US. I don't plan on leaving AT&T.

wth is htc trying to do here they have gotten the wrong concept they wana have the biggest screen but 4.3" is ridiculous. have they even thought that ppl will be putting this in their dam pocket. in my opinion if they really wanted to put a big screen they should not have exceeded 4". good luck on trying to sell. BOTTOMLINE THIS PHONE IS GOOD BUT IT WILL BE A FLOP UNLESS THE USER IS A HTC FANATIC.i like the features tough...

Can't wait to see Samsung's response to the HD2! They'll probably slap a capacitive amoled screen on the thing!!

Great specs, but no software to support it!

For the people who would say that the battery is not good.. please read on qualcom snapdragon processor. this amazing processor is quite impressive. although running at 1ghz.. the watt consumptions is relatively low.. that is the reason, why htc.. lowered the mA of the battery... added to that.. this would be a good reason for htc to put more juice in the headset.. ;p

all i can say.. this is one monster cpu!!! consumers lower wattage than the intel celeron 800mhz. but this baby is running on 1ghz.. reason behind this.. please read above link. its under 45nm technology already. the same with the core i7 / core i5 / core 2 quad / core 2 duo processors.. this is one hell of a monster pc!!!
only bad thing about this phone? it doesn't support video out.. that's too bad but.. who cares! it has a 4.3 inch screen! the biggest among all mobile phones!

Please help check on the connection type for this phone. i just checked HTC website what type of connection HD2 uses. i believe i have read micro USB connection. Please help verify for this case. thanks a lot!

also which is better the resistive touchscreen or the capacitive touchscreen?
and one key feature that is standing out for me between the HD and HD2
HD: front faced camera, stylus, resistive touchscreen
HD2: bigger screen, capacitive touchscreen, 1 Ghz processor + 1 month wait
i narrowed down my caparison of the two and this is wat i came down to, now to pick between the two.
