Anybody who thinks Cortex-A8 is faster than Snapdragon please provide some proof or benchmark. Don't just give your words. It does not have any credibility.

From the Wikipedia, Snapdragon's application processor core, is similar to the Cortex-A8's. But I don't know if that is true. Wikipedia is no authoritative resource.

Anonymous, 11 Oct 2009Snapdragon doesn't have a GPU, which can lead to a laggy UI... moreI don't know about GPU, but from the official website, Snapdragon supports High-performance 3D graphics. It also supports High-resolution display up to WXVGA (1280x720).

So I think you misunderstand about lag of UI and lack of 3D games.

Anonymous, 11 Oct 2009Can anybody who thinks Cortex A8 is faster than Snapdragon ... moreSnapdragon doesn't have a GPU, which can lead to a laggy UI, and of course, a lack of 3D games. Cortex phones like Nokia N900, Samsung Omnia HD etc. (all of them) have a GPU.

Regarding the spec, should it be QSD8250 instead of QSD2850?

Yes, I like HTC products! But, with HD2 one will have to carry some 2 more spare batteries cause such screen will drain the battery away after 1 hour. I do not understand why new items are coming onto market still facing same problem - battery live? I have now bought I Phone 3Gs for my wife and after some days (I used it myself) I decided to keep it for myself. Easy, quick and much better battery live, to my mind:)

HD2 has 448mb ram ,1ghz cpu & a 4.3 screen that are so cool. WOW
It's too good but it should have a better design and better camera.
Also it can be good and faster with android os.
So the main problem is about camera and maybe os.
HTC should learn how to design phones from apple.

Looks like a USA version will be released in Q1 2010 with USA 3g. Looks like the versions will be 850/1900 for US, Latin America sku3, 2100/850 for Telstra, Latin America sku1&sku2). These are the same bands on the USA HTC Touch HD. See link: http://htcpedia.com/news/htc-leo-complete-spec-list-htc-hd2.html

I will get this when released on Oct 19th???? Live in USA but doesn't surf much on PDA. That's what my laptop is for at home!!!! Besides I'm tired of paying $30 per month for internet on top of voice plan!!!!!

Plz remember though this processor is 1Ghz, the amount of stuff running on it (winmob 6.5 & touch flo 2.5 and other back ground porgrams), it will operate no different than the N900 or the touch HD with winmob 6.1.

Anonymous, 10 Oct 2009yeh but the maemo os of the n900 beats windows 6.5 anytimeSo true. WinMo gives me a headache...

This thing with Maemo would be the utmost phone.

If only Nokia would stop playing with its customers... HTC is much better in that regard.
