now if i want to SHIFT & CHANGE completely from WINDOWS TO ANDROID 2.3 gingerbread, is it possible , if yes how?
Also by mistake if i fail to shift to android can i get back my old ROM

newer voice recorder,
newer sms client.
Most stable system and efficient radio version 2.15.50.14 for the HD2.
Password lockout fixed.
Newest .net compact framework which is needed for most add-on programs to work.
As for Android you did not answer the question of if you want to replace the Windows with Android or just run Android from the SD and a second OS.
“O” and it is best that you have the most uptodate radio version before you switch to Android. So that is a next reason to update your ROM.

I just recently bought this phone new. The windows mobile was garbage. I changed the software to where it's running android 2.3 and now its amazing. It even picks up T-mobile's HSPA+ network (4g network) Android changes a crappy phone to an amazing handset!

You were to transfer the data from “My Phone” to “gmail or your PC” before you got ride of the HD2.
For me to help you now you would have to give me you “MyPhone” account address & password…. And your gmail username & password. So I could do it from my HD2…. And I don’t think you really want to do that.

Hi Anthony...
Am facing the worst part now.
Formatted the SD, from PC as well as Tools from Phone. Tried copying files to the SD again, whatever files i copy to SD ae noe becoming 368 kb files, which will say as "Invalid Pocket PC Application" when trying to open from phone.Have almost all Applications installed in SD, so most application in my phone are not working now. Tried to down load again, so if i copy the cab file to SD,it will say invalid application. From PC wen i chk those files, its says they are .exe files.
Am lost bro..really!

The NAND version (running off the internal memory as the only OS on the phone)
Or the SD version (you will have both Android and Windows Mobile but the Android will not run as fast as the Windows because it is running from the SD.
Your answer will decide what installation method you have to use.

i stil hve issues wit my SD as the files got... more1. turn on "show hidden files" on your PC before you start your SD backup.
2. make a folder on your PC and copy everything off the SD to that folder in the same folder tree order as they are on the card.
3. format the SD on the PC
4. format the SD from tools format SD card
5. Return only the uncorrupted files to the SD.
Note: registry settings are not kept on the SD so once you copy program files back to the SD for programs that were installed on the SD, they will work with out having to reinstall.
The “Clear storage” on the phone has nothing to do with the SD. It will only reset your phone internal memory to factory settings (which means it really works like a factory reset..)

I have had this phone for one week, and I have one thing to say: ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT PHONE! (that is when its running Android)
I previously owned a Blackberry 9700 (which I recently sold), Black Nokia N82, Nokia N73, Sony Ericsson... This is by far the best phone I have used.
Advantages: Huge vivid screen, touch response ideal, I have alot of customization options and millions of apps since I rooted the device with Android 2.2 most stable version.
Disadvantages: Need to restart the phone from time to time (not really an issue), and poor speakers.
I'd give this phone a 9.8/10. Definitely rec.
