With WP7 being so power hungry the battery life is much shorter than even the Desire HD.. Just look at the quoted battery life on the htc website and compare all the windows based phones to the Desire HD. There all have lower life battery lifes especially the HD7. If ppl had problems about the bat life on Desire HD then they aint seen nothing yet.
This is a big big problem.. I expect half day battery lifes for extensive use !!!

Let me get this straight while tmobile US will be getting the "HD7", while AT&T will be getting the what? I'm not to happy to see ATT chossing to offer the "Surround 7" model and not include this one in the lineup. Yes you get the slide out speaker but would prefer the screen real-estate that the HD7 has to offer. What a dissapontment.

Really HTC hates secondary camera. It suppose to have 1.5 GHz dual core processor and expandable card slot. also a 4.5 inch AMOLED screen. IT is really frustrating and I was planning to buy. Now my answer is no and so to everyone.

If you want better than this then go for HTC Desire HD.. It's got a 8MP Cam, Flash Support, Froyo OS, 4.3inchs Screen, and 720p Video Recording.. Wat else u want...

Hi,
Your specifications for HTC HD7 reads Bluetooth is present, but in your current review of WP7 OS, you have mentioned that the OS does not support bluetooth.... Is this right or am I missing something?

Tariq keep your HTC HD2 is a great phone, you can even install Android and have a double boot, go to xda developers for information if you haven't done it yet.

The Market is crap,NO Storage, No Videocall, No copy and paste, No Flash, No bluetooth file sharing, No Wireless Tethering, I presume No Multitasking, and moreover we don't know what else....like Skype,Spotify,Podcast, No Live Wallpaper, No customization, No app to Sd card,No BBc iPlayer,forget to install another UI or another Home, No Winamp Remote, No iTunes remote, No TV, No Skyfire....this is coming back to 1980......NEVER, NEVER, NEVER

which htc do you own phantom? i got the hd2. its near to perfect. it got everything and supports everything. if you want a disaster mobile go to blackberry. i swear it was the first and last blackberry mobile i owned. no flash player no skype no call filter no free software to share internet with your laptop...an authentic disaster.

I was expecting much more... the phone is awsome but the memory card slot is lacking which is really disappointing.. i think if we now compare the HTC HD2 to this phone thats really everyones baby.. i would prefer i stick to my HD2 rather than going to HD7

Android is the platform of the future, is growing fast and is getting bigger day after day, the HTC HD7 rather then WP7 should be an Android 1.2 processor already with Froyo 2.2 or better with 3.0....complete with all things we know are important now in 2010/11.The Mass Storage Mod missing is a flop!!
