Soon many companies will announce their new Windows phone 7 phones. In my opinion the new OS is very weak. NO Copy paste, NO Bluetooth file transfer, NO Mass storage mode, NO... No...
This is ridiculous!

The new windows OS looks very nice, my only fear is that it will have some annoying bugs as all of Microsoft's first releases. I already noticed some bugs and impracticalities in some video reviews of WP7, such as awkward screen fitting and no multitasking. Also seems much much slower than android while browsing the net. No flash support either.
As for the device, it will definitely have better specs than this. The specs should look a bit better than the Desire HD.

[deleted post]Correction.
I didnt suggest you buy an iPod to use the 8GB WM7 phone. If you want a better phone. As I mentioned earlier, boot Froyo. Ipod can solve your apps, music and video issues.

Lol, 04 Oct 2010Then dont get it. Simple as that. If the phone doesnt meet ... moreSo now you suggest I pay for an iPod to get around stupidity of downgrading from a 32GB slot to a 8GB with no slot and what happens iof you want to use mutliple cards!!?? If you want more market space you increase what is on offer not decrease!! The point is we have waited a year + for a phone which is actually lower spec. than what it replaces in both absolute and perecived terms! I was very keen on this phone at first as from the HD2, which I have, it should be a logical upgrade path. The reality is that other than getting WM7 it is a disaster area compared to the HD2!! I'm sorry but I cannnot see why any HD2 owner would bother upgrading to this, especially when you consider that sonner or later WM7 will end up on the HD2 one way or another. Hell, I ran WM6.5 on my Tilt 2 for about 6 months despite no official upgrade ever being released. WM7 not supporting SD cards is a farce when previous versions did and to be honest what I use it for is irrelvant to that reality! As a result I will most probably be moving to Android now along with many others! Just look at the XDA Developers site. It has just as much news on Android as Windows now if not more and what have MS done to address this? Released an inferior more tied down OS!! Pathetic is the only word I can use for this!!

IMO, thats what an iPod is for.

Already Windows Mobile is declining in adoption. So they should try beef up the specs and reduce the price, rather than trimming the specs and increasing the price. Make it more affordable as the life of a phone is just 2 years.

Lol, 29 Sep 2010Yes, 8GB. Its not supposed to replace your stand alone c... moreJust one problem. I already use my HD2 for music with a 32 GB Micro SD card. Why would I downgrade to this farce of a phone!? The hardware has not improved in 1 year and the functionality is reduced and all for an O/S that is already long overdue!!
