I have downloaded various rotation s/ware which was a disappointing experience as they are riddled with glitches where the HD mini is concerned. Apart from that, its a great phone for its size. capacitive touch on such a small smart phone was my buying incentive

hi can any one pls tell me if this phone does auto rotate. i know its stupid becoause its written but i havent seen any videos yet which make it autorotate. Because i love the music player of hd2 and hope its the same wit this.
And what is the problem with chinese instead of english?

Can anyone tell me the sar value for the HD Mini is.I believe you can find it on the side of the retail box.Also can you tell me what the speakerphone is like to us.I found the HD2 speaker when used as a phone to be very tinny to the point that I couldn't us it to make calls.I sold it because off that problem.I us the speaker alot.

I just got my HTC HD Mini in the UK on Tuesday 13th April 2010, so far the phone has been excellent and fast. Whatever problems anyone is facing with the HD Mini should be due to certain careless mistake. I wouldn't condemn anybody's opinion but for my self, the HTC HD mini is an excellent device, most especially it's Wifi Router....it's Awesome.

I agree with denvers comments, I experienced the same thing. I bought it last monday in taipei. The store said language can be change anytime. But when I arrived @ airport I inserted the battery and only chinese language shown. By accident there was a store inside airport selling htc and he said this htc hd mini the whole taiwan is in chinese. I really shocked ann speechless. I think htc must provide the downloadable english rom so that the users who travels and buy from asian countries can be safely purchased the htc hd mini.

Be careful with this since I putchased 2 days ago n find out that is's in traditional chinese. I asked the htc customer service n they said the device that in chinese language cannot be upgraded to english rom. Be wise buying this htc mini. I really regret w/ my decision.

Overall this is a nice windows mobile but the price is quite expensive....

[deleted post]yepp the price is 275 in pound and in dollar price is 419. so in indian rupees it should be about 20000. in this price it is a very good windows mobile. but if you want something else in same price then you can go for samsung omnia pro b7610. that is a very nice windows mobile with large qwerty key pad and great multimedia phone with amoled screen. so you can go for that. good luck.
