I have to say that I am very very disappointed with the HTC Company. I bought HTC HD MINI on November 2010 and after 3 months I had problems with battery.
On November 2010 I bought an HTC HD Mini.
After 4 months of normal use the battery was so weak that I had to carry always my charger with me.
The last two months my mobile didn't charge more than 60 % and the battery drained after 5 minutes of use.
Then I bought a new battery and I upgraded the software of the phone but the problem still existed.
So, I sent the device in HTC service, in order to fix it.
Today, I received their answer that really made me loose my patience.
They sent me an email ( that I have copied at the end of this mail) where they explain me
that the "the chassis and the main board are bend", and the service will cost 198 euros .
First of all I didn't bend my mobile phone and I have no doubt about it.
Secondly and more importantly, I am a computer engineer my self and I really can't figure out
how the "board bend" can cause a battery charge problem!!!!!
Such a response seems to me completely unjustified, not to say ridiculous !!!
I am really disappointed with this situation, considering company's worldwide reputation concerning quality and service!

Sorry about the people that had problems with that phone, but, MY HTC HD MINI is THE BEST WINDOWS MOBILE PHONE I EVER HAD...I've using WinMo smarthphones since Windows Mobile 2003, and the HTC HD MINI is the most stable phone, most beaultiful, small, and exclusive phone i ever had...everybody ask me about the model, all the time! Everyone get impressed with its performance and stuffs.

If you go back 10 years and find yourself with brick flaunting itself as smartphone that was era of Windows phones.
Now windows phones suck Android rocks!!

This phone has a stylish look among the other HTC phones.But due to its HVGA screen resolution that causes most of the programs doesn't work.
It has the latest windows mobile OS 6.5.3,this is the good point!!Watch slideshow/video in landscape view is comfortable,run smoothly and with just a single touch and go! Good for business user.

Anonymous, 22 May 2011using this phone for last 1 year.......this the best phone ... moreListen, mate. This isn't the best phone. HTC Sensation is far better. Check out the specs. Sensation 8mp HD mini only 5mp. HD mini only 65k Sensation has 16milliom.
Honestly, HD Mini 320 x 480 pixels and 3.2 inches?!? HD Sensation is 540 x 960 pixels, 4.3 inches. BEAT THAT!
The only good thing about it, is that it's lighter than the Sensation (due to not very good specifications and short battery life.) It's still good, but Sensation is better. Buy anyway, at least it's the same make!

how can i take my videos off my htc hd mini or hw can i transfer dem to memory card. my laptop slot for card reader is not working so can i still transfer videos to pc ??

Worst phone ever! Constantly freezes. Unbearably slow. Drops service. I have to wait nearly 5 minutes to read a text after recieving it because it has frozen. When its freezing up and the screensaver comes on, you can use it and have to take the battery out.

i found the htc hd mini quite complicated to use. I prefer andoroid os or iphone os.

using this phone for last 1 year.......this the best phone i ever owned....previously i used to buy sony ericsson cell phones......but seriously this is the best phone....thanks HTC....will only buy HTC phones in future....no compromise :)

and ... moremy HTC HD mini was bought in september 2010. what i noticed was that even at normal settings, sometimes messages would come in without any notification sound; sometimes, there would be incoming calls without any ring tone. i brushed those problems aside.
but starting yesterday, my phone has been hanging. i have been removing my battery and replacing, and yet, phone hangs. phone has had screen protector from day 1, has never been dropped, too. i have used it for surfing news about 3-5times only. never downloaded any file.
what do i need to do?
pls. help. i have been reading about this phone freeze problem, yet have seen no remedy :-(

the signal or baseband is changing automatically and im suffering from calls,suddenly it is changing from 3G to E ,H,or G and my voice is being cut from the other line.
dont use on lower areas with weak signal.

Ive noticed others have the same problem. Screen freezes during call and cannot hang up without pulling the battery. Very annoying! Also noticed the smart alecs who say it is experience. What a joke. There is certainly a lack of experience if they do not think we have tried various different settings. Thank you for sending your solutions
