follow this
1 go to the fone settings
2go to Locale & Text
3go to Text input
4 then select input options and it is all in there

LWIN MAUNG OO, 28 Oct 2010i had htc hd mini, sometime i turn it on logo start and win... moreHi i had this problem with this handset untill i did a Administrator reset of the fone and this sorted all the problems then i installed any updates.
to do the administrator rest do the folowing
remove battry when turned on
remove simcard & memory card ( all infomation will be lost that is stored on the fone )
replace the battry without replaceing the back
hold the volume butons in on the side and press the power-button
the fone will boot in to a administrator mode and it askes you to press the down button
then just follow the onscreen instructions
you have just performed a administrator reset

I like the PDA/Smartphone with OS :Windows Mobile 6; because they can use Metatrader.4 Mobile; So I can trade Forex, CFD, Commodities in any place anywhere and anytime.
HTC HD Mini can Provide all things that I needed. Thanks to HTC & I hope HTC can make more PDA with the OS: Windows Mobile.

i had htc hd mini, sometime i turn it on logo start and window logo still,light also on for long time,i take out battery and turn on again, it window start to normal
what happen to that it a window problem or phone handset problem, anyone pls answer to me thank..

Anson, 25 Oct 2010This handphone looks quite thin lol I'm afraid it will bre... morehi i have one of these and i droped it about 2 days ago and all that hapned was the back came of and the battry came out so i put it back to gether and it worked perfect again... have you looked at the SPB shell in the market place it improves the fone by a great deal and it has made mine faster and more user friendly it also made the fone work in 3D and hd. the camera also improved and gives better detail on pictures, you can get the trial from the market place wich lasts 15 days but the full one from the market place costs about £26 but i went on the internet on my pc and downloaded it from a torrent site and it also had the product key and when i installed it threw my pc it works perfect and it also says it is a genuine copy

This handphone looks quite thin lol
I'm afraid it will break into half when i drop it accidentally.
It's okay actually, its function obviously good.
Plus it's touch screen.

I have a query... when i use the hotkey for facebook, it comes up in a language that i dont know, but when i use any of the browsers, it works just fine and loads in English. I checked all the settings and cant seem to fix this...does anyone know how to fix this?

Dear anyone who wants to buy this phone,
I am writing from my experience...
When I wanted to buy a new phone, I went to buy htc hd2 because of the big screen. But when I reached the store, they told me that they only have hc hd2 made in China which is not good. So, I had no other option except buying htc hd2 mini ($ 385 in Iraq) because this was made in Taiwan.
I was very happy at the beginning because it was very beautiful. I was happy to move from Nokia N95 to this new one. But I really regret that I bought this phone in the first place. There are various issues that can't be solved.
The first thing is the camera, even if you choose SUPER FINE still the picture is very bad. I tried a lot to figure out away but it was useless. It has a very bad camera. Besides, there is not flash for taking pictures at night.
There are many bugs in the Windows 6.5.3. For example if you go to Calender and tap the first day of the month to input a new appointment, it doesn't respond until you tap on third of the month.
Or if you try to change the home-screen wallpaper for several times it crashes and doesn't respond. Once it happened to me and I restarted the device 20 times until I back up my contacts and hard reset the device.
The windows on this device makes it very sluggish sometimes and you cant use it until your restart it. I came to believe that windows is not a good operating OS for cellphone. I really had a better experience with Symbian when I had my Nokia N95.
Besides, every time you have hard reset the phone, all your messages will be gone unless you back up online through Microsoft my phone. But not everyone has internet on cellphone to have this option. They could have built a software to help users with backing up data like Nokia.
To cut is short, if I sell my htc hd2 mini now, I will never ever think about buying any device with Windows as operating system. And for those of you who wants a good cellphone go for htc desire or Nokia N8. Nokia N8 is very lovely.

htc servive center is charging 4300 baht for replacing my broken screen which is almost $150. anyways is done in cheaper price?? i mean replica of htc hd mini's screen is available in other stores in kolakata,india?? i live in bangladesh...its not available here. i bought the phone from thailand and there they are asking so high price. sending phone in india will be nearer to me. HELP!!!!
