I know not only the megapixel count is important, but is important too! SE Satio is the only one 12MP smartphone, and is not finished yet, they can add Exmor sensor!:)
And is important a mobile phone to have CCD sensor(see Sharp phones), the CCD sensor is used in digital cameras.

jackson, 06 Jul 2009wheres ur source? i cant see any sources saying theres diff... morelook up how many colors can the human eye see in google or yahoo. and pretty much all the sites listed say its in the millions. u cud test this urself by using phones with dif amount of colors but same dpi.

The only thing that can tell it are computers. A prisma, which is the same like our eyes can maximum emit 65k. Therefor our eyes are limited to 65k colors.

so i find it easy to see a difference between 65k and any other.
You might get used to 65k however when a phone with a higher colour count displays the same image, assuming the pixels are the same, then you will feel like chucking 65k away!

mobile review has reviewed this phone. it is really good and i am happy with my htc dream and i will be more happier to have htc hero. i love the OS. android is one of my favourite operating systems! it is way better than iphone.

check google. ppl can c more than 65k. even winmo who makes only 65k admits it.
