oho, 24 Jun 2009Actually this is the most intuitive and fun UI I've seen on... moreAlso, the screen is just 65K as opposed to 16million colour screen of the iphone..That's a huge difference in clarity!

Some will say that i would just have to look into samsung phones specially Omnia HD, but i like the UI of the HTC hero, yup iphone, pre', samsung, LG, nokia, sony phone killer...

What i dont like about the HTC Hero is its candy bar design, it would be more gorgeous if it has no curve like thing on the bottom of the phone, just a plain bar with no curves. cut off the curve and squeeze the other keys and the track ball on the center of the home and menu key and it would be awesome.

i think HTC HERO UI is very far, miles far, galaxy far more better than those in the market today...

oho, 24 Jun 2009Actually this is the most intuitive and fun UI I've seen on... moreiPhone's also got a Hardware Accelerator or a Graphics processor in other words..Not too sure whether HTC Hero has it..(not mentioned in specs atleast).. That can make a huge difference in speed of loading a lot of graphics intensive menus, apps, gallery and games.

wow! this think jumps right out of the box box at trying a different approach to everything! love the design, the looks, the specs... everything!

android IS the most intuitive and fun ui till date i guess! so it is not just an iphone killer, but will kill all! besides, iphone ui is just as boring as that of any random nokia! there is nothing new to it even though they keep upgrading it.

all the best htc! just price it right and you have a winner! an actual hero!

I think you're right, everywhere I post up the answer is always the same, the Pro 2, all the reviews and youtube videos I've seen it looks mightily impressive and feature rich, especially for business.

Plus WM 6.5 is just around the corner and looks excellent.

Boris, 25 Jun 2009I am so confused....So many choices in handsets now....I wa... moreActually, the choice now is not easy, with all these varieties out there, it becomes even more difficult. But, as for me, when I chose a handset, it would be the OS that would make my decision, you know .. there are lots of softwares out there now, Symbian, Mac (iPhone), Android, WinMo, WebOS (Palm)..etc so the one I like the most will be my next handset. The confusing thing is just even within these OSes there are also multiple choices. But for now, I would recommend:
Symbian: Nokia N97 or Samsung I8910 OmniaHD
WinMo: Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 or HTC Touch Diamond2 or HTC Touch Pro2
Android: HTC Hero (When it comes out) or Samsung I7500 Galaxy
These are my choices from within the OS I'd chose. Hope it helps a little!

I am so confused....So many choices in handsets now....I was patient enough to wait..I have always been a BB fan and it was going to be my next handset until I saw the beauties coming out of HTC lineups, then Samsung had a nice streak but this device is stellar. I don't care what people say about WinMo..But I dont minds them..As a matter of fact I think WinMo good years are still to come.
My only question is about Android. I have read some good things but I am not sure I will like it. Have seem the videos on youtube but I am still not sure..Anyone out there pretty familiar with Android...Please help...Help me make a choice before another handset makes me change my mind...

Anonymous, 24 Jun 2009Old Spec, no div-x boring! Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... moreOld specs?? What is old about it? The most intuitive UI up till now? or the Multi-Touch Capacitive screen? Or the handwriting recognition on capacitive screens (which Android devices only support it for capacitive screens up till now)? Or the 288Mb RAM? Or the 5MP camera (Which is not old at all, mobiles coming out at 8MP or 12MP doesn't mean 5MP is old, or is less capable)? What does OLD mean for you?

Dan, 24 Jun 2009Question: HTC Hero vs Touch Pro 2 vs Diamond 2 for busin... moreSeriously, the Pro2 .. it's not just because you said business, but it's actually much more styled for business usage, and it has a sort of fun, its own way! Don't forget it's WM .. so tweaking it like this and adding the TouchFLO-3D UI to it, would give it fun beside the business usability.
