Just got mine, very attractive and very customizable, just installed 2.3 on it and it flys, a good phone with a nice camera, nice layout, definitely get one if you can!

This is a very good phone! I love it! And I love HTC! They make very good phones. I have 2.1 on my hero, the official one and I don't want any custom roms. It play games like a galaxy s or a desire HD but I don't use it for games so it's good for me! It's better then wildfire...between hero and wildfire...choose lg optimus one if you want a bit of gaming 2.

Does any one here knows...will my lovely phone HTC hero will get 2.2 froyo update..or HTC has igoned all of us..?
Im worried only about the ram size...since all the applications are installed on ram itself..if froyo is out then we can save lots of ram space..the phone will be much faster..
